What impact do you think design makes on a rental property?
T&R Property Solutions here (Tiago and Robert): Design has proven to work so far on our 4 refurbs. Being rental or flip, great and un-expensive design "sells".
we've achieve the highest rentals in the area, as well as "broke the ceiling price" when it comes to a sale.
We know that someone buys the most expensive item of their lives within 20 minutes of being inside it (a house!!). Impress the wife and surely she just needs to sign-off :) We definitely agree that design sells/rents a house faster/highest £.
This was brilliant, Julian brings in new thought to an old profession. Plus when he talks about design, I like the fact he's not talking about just the look/aesthetics but the functionality of the house. I agree with what has been discussed here. I thoroughly enjoyed this Podcast.

Very interesting vlog I hope a lot of landlords think Very hard about would they live in their Hmo property .if not then make it so you would. People who are in need are still people. Treat them as such. Respect your tenants
Choose your tenants Very carefully. So you don't get burnt. I know that not all tenants are good. Or perfect payer's. I am sure if you keep your humanity. You're going to end up with great tenants. If you're only interested in the money. Then good luck..!!! All slum landlords are the lowest of the low. bottom feeders sadly.

interesting guest, thinks differently to most landlords and even property trainers. Please bring more alternate views to the podcast. Please challenge them as conventional thinking does sometimes need to be ripped open and new ideas need to push us forward as a community.
