im still sayin he is anyway bc this dude didnt even know rengoku for a long time and he still liked him more than the dude who saved him 3 TIMES in the animated part of the series and idek how many times in the manga so fuck bein accurate imma make it how it should be. >:(
although if im being honest the reason he probably likes rengoku more is probably his lively nature and tanjiro might be a little affected by giyuus silence and thats sad :< not only that but the speech or.. lecture that giyuu gave him in the first ep is probably still in tanjiros head reminding him that he wasnt strong enough or had enough reaction time and battle IQ to save them. thats probably haunting him too rn so i can see why but giyuu still did everything for him regardless so even if giyuus not his first fav im pretty sure hes his second..istg it better not be kocho-

I hate that Nezuko's favorite hashira is mitsuri. Just wow. Giyu risked not only his career but his life for her and she still likes mitsuri more then him. and in my opinion mitsuri hasn't done anything major for Nezuko.

Adding on to igurouwugf’s comment, it is sad that his fav hashira is rengoku, I also feel really bad for tomioka, like fr bro almost died (I think), and spared his sister? Rengoku didn’t do nothin- except for like some things, but come to think of it, no it isn’t rengoku, tanjiro’s to nice, google says it a tie between rengoku and tomioka, of course google lies, but tanjiro is to kind to choose a favorite, most likely he can’t choose, he’s to kind and never picks favorites, and he would probably not dress up, most likely let people ask who his favorite is, I’m not trying to be rude just saying :D
