Benji does it again. I'm going to try my own guacamole, but I can't do the cilantro I really dislike the taste. I love the style of the videos just natural and you cooking and shopping and pops in from the fam once in awhile, just relaxed and nice. Great job on the consistency.
I just made this and it easily beats your previous 10 guacamole. I don’t have a molcajete so I “minced” it in a ziploc and my spice bottle to form the paste. Thank you for the recipe.
Also with any type of tortilla chips, I Always bake in the oven at 250 for maybe 7 mins. It releases the oils and gives it a “fresh” out of the fryer taste. Let’s make some bacon cheese egg bites!
I want to know that as well. I have one, but I don't use it because it leaves some residue behind, like sand texture from the bowl. I know you have to clean it before the first use but don't know how. You can also make salsa in there, too.
I love my molacajete! It really does make the guacamole taste better! My one looks a bit different but i got it from Costco i dont think it matters if it's still made from volcanic rock.
The mocajete may be legit, although looks too perfect, I have seen some more modern companies starting to make them this way for aesthetic purpose. I think it’s more preference. I like mine being “imperfect”
Try this sweet and spicy guacamole. 3 avocados 4 cloves fresh garlic 1/4 cup minced red onion 1/4 cup minced pineapple or mango 1-2 table spoons pickled jalapeño juice of 1 lime 1/8 cup fresh minced cilantro 1 table spoon honey salt Its super good and when I make it I dont share it at all!
That bowl you use scares me. I would be worried bits of whatever it is made from would scrape off and get into the food. Do you ever find this as a problem. Are there bits of hard pieces from the bowl coming apart when mashing?
Benji can you please make sushi 🍣 and chicken pot pie 🥧 as you are Japanese and Irish ☘️. Julianna is definitely so mature now. Leah is so independent.
Just chop every and make sure the avocado is mashed good with a good amount of lime juice, I’ve been making Mexican Guac for years and I don’t have a molcajete.
I’ve been making the first recipe you shared on your channel few years back and it’s now our staple recipe every time! SO GOOD! Thanks for sharing!
It's a pestle. Who knew that green onions had a bitter middle? Not me.
We’ve always used pretty much the whole onion, even my Mexican grandma too. Never noticed a bitter middle.
He took out the middle of the green onions because bitter but proceeds to leave jalapeno seeds in which are bitter ... 🤷
It's called in Spanish a molcajete I use mine alot and u make it just like I do but im.gonna try the Sriracha that I don't do but looks delish,
and … “I am gonna have a beer, while I do this!” Benji is my kinda chef! 😃
A very thorough and nuanced preparation method. Love it.
The first guacamole I made was Benji's "Perfect 10'. A must recipe try.
I have been making their perfect 10 guacamole recipe for years since their first recipe video on it.
Hey Benji, please show me how you make Arroz Caldo. My hubby's fave comfort food is my pork congee with preserved duck egg (Jook). 👍

same i really don’t like cilantro favour
To me cilantro tastes like stinkbugs smell 😅 I read it's determined by our genes. But I love parsley and use it in guacamole instead.
Ay caramba!! Looks delicious! My mouth is watering at how tasty the guacamole looks! Thanks for detailed tutorial, Benji!!
The molcajete or bowl is called the "mortar." The "pestle" is a rounded grinding club often made of the same material as the mortar.
My aunt taught me to add a bit of milk to help with the browning. Leaving the pit in also helps. I just do both.
Hi Benji, can you please show us how you make your homemade French Fries? Thanks
Thanks for sharing the recipe it's looks very delicious.
I'm an onion lover, so I like to add in red onion. So yumm!
I’ve been having your first recipe you posted of guacamole years ago in my saved videos I made it a few times and man it’s delicious
I’ve used your recipe for 10 years now, absolutely love it & my friends always ask to bring it to get togethers 👏🏼🥑
I just made this and it easily beats your previous 10 guacamole. I don’t have a molcajete so I “minced” it in a ziploc and my spice bottle to form the paste. Thank you for the recipe.
I’m most definitely trying this! This was so ASMR!
How you cut the tomato is how I cut lemon and lime to get the most juice out of it 😊 that Guac looks so good!
Wow.. this looks so healthy and yummy 😋
Will have to try the mincing part. Looks like a game changer 👍
Definitely making this for New Years Eve!!
Also with any type of tortilla chips, I Always bake in the oven at 250 for maybe 7 mins. It releases the oils and gives it a “fresh” out of the fryer taste.
Let’s make some bacon cheese egg bites!
We make our pretty much like that, but just for I don’t know a change try adding pomegranate seeds it’s sooo good
Benji, your knife skills are great
Looks delicious, has many dimensions, good ideas.
Thankyou Benji I'm going to have ago at making this much appreciated all you do 👍👍👍👍 love to you and papa. And family and have a happy new year ❤️🤗👍👍👍
How do you clean a molcajete? And what else can you make in it??
I want to know that as well. I have one, but I don't use it because it leaves some residue behind, like sand texture from the bowl. I know you have to clean it before the first use but don't know how. You can also make salsa in there, too.

So good!!! Thank you
I use white onion, Serrano pepper cilantro and Roma tomatoes
Salt of course
Started buying Juanita chips because of you guys but you seriously need to try Chicas Lime or regular tortilla chips!! They are so BOMB!!
Omg ! I’m gonna make this can’t wait !
JB saying she’s prepping for the spicy at Taco Bell by eating Benji’s guacamole lol.
Lol😂
A great fried chicken recipe, maybe your favorite green juice recipe or a go-to breakfast dish
Looks delicious!
The mocajete may be legit, although looks too perfect, I have seen some more modern companies starting to make them this way for aesthetic purpose. I think it’s more preference. I like mine being “imperfect”
The bowl is called a mortar and the masher is called a pestle. In Spanish you are right, it is call a molcajete. The guacamole looks delicious!
How many cups is your mortal and pestle ? Do you have a link? Thanks!
thanks benji! happy holiday and happy 2024 love from vancouver
Would like to see some chicken recipes next 😊 and/or easy dinner ideas that you commonly do for the fam ❤
Crumble queso fresco, it gives a nice texture to it and also a nice salty bite
Try this sweet and spicy guacamole.
3 avocados
4 cloves fresh garlic
1/4 cup minced red onion
1/4 cup minced pineapple or mango
1-2 table spoons pickled jalapeño
juice of 1 lime
1/8 cup fresh minced cilantro
1 table spoon honey
salt
Its super good and when I make it I dont share it at all!
Oh wow. I will.
Thank you
I’m Mexican we do add salt and pepper. Def no sriracha 😂
Can you link the molcajete you use?
How do you clean the pestle?
Another one to the favorites.. 🍺🤙
I've been making your guacamole for a long time. The only thing I add is cumin. So good!!
The tool is a pestle. Hope you show us Judy's and mama's lumpia recipe too ❤
Judy has already done a video how she makes her lumpia.
Love that you used a molcajete!
That bowl you use scares me. I would be worried bits of whatever it is made from would scrape off and get into the food. Do you ever find this as a problem. Are there bits of hard pieces from the bowl coming apart when mashing?
We add a little bit of olive oil
Same here, delicious. 👍
Hi Benji, would you be interested in doing a vegan version of some of your popular meals?
Also they say if u leave the pit in your guac its supposed to stay green longer. It does but not much longer.
This looks good. 👍🏾
I made a comment about the lumpia as to if it could found outside the PNW. Well at Costco in Salt Lake City I found it.
Sprinkle a lil tajin😋
In india especially south we do lot of vegetable pickles in this same method
Benji can you please make sushi 🍣 and chicken pot pie 🥧 as you are Japanese and Irish ☘️. Julianna is definitely so mature now. Leah is so independent.
Sriracha is my secret ingredient to good guacamole!
Gotta get that chilli sauce
Guten Morgen ☕☕☕ Bon Appetit 🙏🍀
I add fish sauce.
Can't wait to finally make my own guacamole, but what to do when you don't have a molcajete?
Just chop every and make sure the avocado is mashed good with a good amount of lime juice, I’ve been making Mexican Guac for years and I don’t have a molcajete.
There only thing you need for the greatest guacamole is finely julienned gala apples and red onions!
Cut your apples like that too! Right around the core! And bell peppers.
Always here for a good guac
How about tortilla soup !
In Spain that device is a MORTERO
The device is called el molcajete
Im going to miss this Videos when they're gone. 😭
Going where?
Secret to amazing guacamole? A splash of olive oil. Trust me. 👍
Mortar and pestle 😂😊
Forget Chipotle. This is where it’s at.
That is called , goush koub
its called a pestle, its the perfect 10 guacamole in 2023! Nice!
Add Sal de ajo and Chile serrano
It’s called molcahate 😀
They are called Molcajetes
I feel like siracha would give it
a completely different flavor
...need to buy some avocado 🥑
Mortar(bowl) n pestle…
Take it to the next level by adding a roasted poblano pepper, you’ll thank me later!!
❤❤❤❤
Mortar and pestle
I call that thing a pestle.
Sriracha is American.
secrets, not secret's
If you don't know pestle and mortar is, you shouldn't be making guacamole. It's insulting for guacamole fans out there
It’s a fake 😕
I would add a little ketchup and sugar
Hi! What knife do you use @benjimantv ?! In need of a good knife
