Btw that F-150 is an EV car if someone doesn't know Abouy the rally is reasonable why some tracks are tight, also using Alexa to do directions, however it could be great if the add the gear recomended (for example Left 5 or Right 2) Rally tracks are mostly tight, also the copilot is the one who tell directions. For example in directions the copilot say: "left 2 gets open to 48 mile straight, incoming posible jump and right 4, be careful we'll enter in mud to right 6" The meaning of this is a close turn, the better option is use 2nd gear and floor it when the turn becomes open, jump if its necesary and the turn right 4 is in 4th gear and be careful there's gonna be mud and its slippy to the right 6, one mistake at the turns and you'll end up flying out the track and crash into something, thats why in the expansion there's walls in the turns.
this is literally the best expansion and you are wrong if you say otherwise. the roads are the best to drive on and finally put more emphasis on handling builds and not power builds. usually they concentrate on making the map look good first and then make the roads around that but this time it really feels like they made the roads really nice to drive first then they went back and built the map around the roads.
@Donald Pump - "Make America Lift Again" I bet you call yourself a free thinker. A city expansion would be boring, and pretty impossible to add because of last gen consoles
much better than the hot wheels expansion. also EVENTUALLY you are much better off with a slower car or an A class ride on these races. narrow roads, tight corners. really cool expansion. but short
In my opinion,I don’t like it. And you’re video is the great example. The main map is dirt with some roads and nothing spectacular. You are driving a Bugatti Chiron! The main map is not a place for HyperCars like that. If you wanted to play hot wheels, the new hot wheels game came out at the same time, same game, didn’t want it, won’t play it. This new rally expansion, again same dirt and one road where you can’t touch the side or you’re shiny car is a mudmaster.. there is to much focus on offroad and to little on the nice places and cities. It was my mistake to think so that this game would do that.
It's an ok DLC. I actually like rally, but this DLC only had one rally car and more buggies and trucks. Buggy and Truck adventure would be more fitting, and the only good thing is the tight road sections. Not ungrateful, but they could have done much better.
One thing that's good in the DLC is the road layout. They said that the main map was designed for the eliminator mode but that just made it flat and boring. In FH4 choosing the right way made the mode interesting. Now you hold the gas and pray for the best. This also made normal racing boring. Let's hope they keep the winding roads and elevation changes in the next game
You need High end S1 to S2 Rally's for Alejandras team, it's actually more road than anything else, but the zones/traps want high speeads, I wound up rallying out a Divo, and the Sian, and of course used the Hoonigan RS200 on most races. I finished every thing besides smashin boards in about 5 hours, on pro difficulty, manual shifting and mostly first person.
It has to be said despite the poor size of the map the concrete roads are by far the best cruising roads in any Forza game, what it lacks in size for cruising roads it makes up in quality in my humble opinion
They should do a street racing or touring car expansion even if we have to wait for the next game, just proper racing maybe on actual racetracks would be cool, i get so bored of doing the same aimless races across the map tbh
the fact that this guy doesn't like the expansion actually speaks good about it. Because Theo is an arcade, non-competitive player. The fact that he actually chose to drive a Bugatti to showcase the rally expansion is proof of this. Hot wheels expansion was for this people. Arcade, full of silly roads, jumps and cars. Whereas with this one it actually feels hardcore. Don't get me wrong, it's still Forza, can't ask for much. But the roads are nice and tight, the events are skillful if you disable all the aids, and the cars and antilag really blend in with the mix. I feel this was made for us, the people who want to learn and improve our driving, to compete with our friends in the leaderboards and to feel like one little mistake ruins your run.
He always hates anything that isn't MW2005 every time an amazing Racing games comes out or DLC he finds something to complain about this DLC is amazing his takes are sometimes very strange
One Last Expansion dlc should be something like Uphill and Downhill racing plus with a few Time Attack bodykits for our Jdm cars like a few civics and Toyota the iconic ones should get great extreme bodykits for maximum time attack and i think that can be amazing after this ^-^ Uphill and Downhill should be on a Beautiful mountain with great roads for that kind of racing
Rally is all abut the shifts and the e-brake, and running redline a LOT. Redline helps you handle better at faster speeds. Hard turns, pop the E broke lke 50 yards from the turn, then downshift and feather the throttle, pop the e-brake again if you need to. Medium turns, pop the ebrake and slight turn whichever direction, normal turns let off gas slightly and Accelerate full throttle out of EVERY turn.
By far the hot wheels expansion in horizon 5. Recycled from horizon 3. The roads in the rally dlc plus the already big number of rally cars in forza 5 makes it really nice too roam around. If lancia fiat and alfa would come back i would be satisfied
For the "Extreme" players that binge all the content in less than 2 days, these DLCs are pretty underwhelming. But I personally take my sweet time, and I honestly really liked it. I'm not a "100%" fan of rally, but I like it a lot still, so it's pretty fun to do some of the events in faster cars (A rank specifically, or even higher), because then the roads seem pretty small and you need to drive a bit more carefully, but still fast in the corners and stuff. I really liked both the HotWheels DLC and this one, but this one seems a bit more fun to me, even though it might be as small, or smaller, than the HotWheels one. Either way, the roads are pretty good to drive, so at least that's a plus for me.
This DLC just doesn't have much content. I also always take my time to play and explore. (With all games). Nevertheless, I was through with the DLC in one weekend. And I have played a maximum of 1-2 hours a day...
Ngl the only disappointment I’ve got from this DLC is how incredible the map design is compared to the main map. The driving roads and overall character of the map is another level compared to the main map, especially the canyon and palm tree jungles. It’s left me wishing main map with its larger scale had such quality. We can only hope they take this map design forward for fh6, like they usually do with DLC’s.
It’s good i just think its too small and short to play through. Also the cars seemed boring to me, we only got one real rally car and the rest was just trucks very similar to ones we already have
I think instead of having one led on a drone; they should put the light on their wings. It would give out some good light effects! Just like they do in Arduino builds.🤔
The hot wheels in Fh5 was just to much felt like you were gunna crash every race, rally adventures was fun to me the the roads are good, even the races they put together are fun, it feels good to down shift for a hairpin and drift around it with your car popping and banging from anti lag
The roads are much much better than both the main game and hot wheels expansion Plus playing the races in rally mode is also fun, not knowing if you are winning or losing, so you are constantly trying to drive better till you reach the finish line.
I've described this expansion talking with my friends as, "Not what Forza Horizon needed, but definitely what I've needed out of Forza Horizon." It doesn't really fix any of my qualms with the series, but it does actually do a great job of reminding me of what it is I like about the games. That said, when you were on about a street racing expansion in a proper big city all I could think of is how THE GAME TAKES PLACE IN MEXICO. MEXICO CITY, IS RIGHT FUCKING THERE. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN FUCKING AMAZING, BUT NO. LET'S CHARGE $20 FOR A GLORIFIED MAP PACK AND SOME UI OPTIONS THAT COULD AND SHOULD'VE BEEN ADDED TO THE CORE GAME.
Every expansion needs a gimmick to the environments. I don't mind the same biome as the base map, but it would have been the perfect opportunity for tighter remotely challenging roads. Instead they're just a bit more winding and bumpy, but still far off from even horizon 1! With only 1 actually rally car as well, I genuinely don't see the point unless you REALLY wanted more of the same
The DLC is fine. I like the map, new cars, and the rally mode with the helicopter with pace notes. I don’t like that every car in the DLC besides the Focus and the lightning are the exact same in terms of upgrades. Same engine swaps, same top speed, somewhat equal weight reduction, no tire size change, and probably a few more.
As a person who do NOT want rally, it wasn’t too bad. The roads are pretty sick but that alone isn’t enough to convince friends to buy a nearly $20 expansion. We just want more cars new and old. This game has so much potential but they’re just holding out
I like the rally expansion map, while it looks pretty same as the original map, the technical roads and the feel are interestingly different, but that should be in the base game, and routes are too wide for rally. Imo, it should be narrower and more handling based.
i actually really like this dlc because even though its basic on the surface, the map/road layout is probably the best they've ever done, and using a slammed drift transit van on a rally stage is something that you cant do in any other game the helicopter is super annoying though especially in the night races
He's here complaining about co-driver shout out and it's unnecessary because of mini map. Why don't you turn off the mini map as you play the whole expansion.
ngl, after playing through the whole campaign the expansion is actually very good. expansion 1 still is better IMO, but expansion 2 is very much worth it. honestly, you were too critical about the expansion.
The map is too small and isn`t visually distinct enough from the main map, but is orherwise great. However, that cursed helicopter singlehandedly ruined the whole thing for me, and I shut the game down half way through the first night time race. The fact it`s extremely noisy (stopping you from being able to really hear the car) and the fact that it kicks up alot of dust and impairs visability are bad enough, but couple all that with the abnoxious searchlight that cause a stupid (if adimitiedly pretty realistic) amount of glare on the water particles in the air, and on the water on the road, causing an already pretty annoying and useless "mechanic" to become streight up agravating, and honestly a deal breaker for me... It also breaks my immersion, in part because of the aformentioned visual and auditory aspects, but also because as far as I`m aware, rally drivers don`t usually have a chopper following them throughout the entire stage, or atleast not this close. If it were a one off thing, or for specific races than fine, but having that thing make every race miserable is too much... I genuinly hope they add in the option to remove the chopper (probably not happening though)
A lot of people like this expansion but for me tbh it didn’t hit like he first expansion. I’m not disappointed for my money’s worth but yeah considering the fh5 map was already basically just a giant open world jungle and off-road,so alot of rally already,so they basically just added to what we already had🫤
The new DLC is awesome... Play Ground games should be proud of themselves for creating this masterpiece and bringing 'fun' back to Forza.. Challenging tracks with superb visuals.. Doubt i'll be heading back to the main map any time soon...
It is the best expansion in PC gen. Forza history in my opinion. I never ever had a chance to try FH and FH2. But from FH3 until now, this is the best expansion, for me. I love rally and twisty roads. Also, I love trophy trucks. So, win win for me!
I would had prefer a police theme expansion. Or a race track expansion with a mix of motorsport. Maybe even another collaboration expansion like Cars 1 , 2 , 3 for example maybe even cyberpunk 2077 with Night City.
The technicality of the roads is on point. I think Playground Games nailed this expansion. I do wish it was a larger map but thankfully the way it was designed it feels larger than it seems.
The antilag become annoying 5 minutes after you installed it on your car, the roads are amazing, the lack of real rally cars (if I hear rally, my monkey brain automaticly links me to group b) from the past is a bummer, the races are competitive and it indeed feels like a watered down festival playlist. I bought the ultimate deluxe cheesus edition of the game at launch so...I wouldn't pay for this dlc. the roads are fun, yes. But the rest is boring af.

The meaning of this is a close turn, the better option is use 2nd gear and floor it when the turn becomes open, jump if its necesary and the turn right 4 is in 4th gear and be careful there's gonna be mud and its slippy to the right 6, one mistake at the turns and you'll end up flying out the track and crash into something, thats why in the expansion there's walls in the turns.
the game might not be the best but I still have an insane amount of respect for the people who spent hours to create this.
this is literally the best expansion and you are wrong if you say otherwise.
the roads are the best to drive on and finally put more emphasis on handling builds and not power builds.
usually they concentrate on making the map look good first and then make the roads around that but this time it really feels like they made the roads really nice to drive first then they went back and built the map around the roads.
@Donald Pump - "Make America Lift Again" I bet you call yourself a free thinker. A city expansion would be boring, and pretty impossible to add because of last gen consoles
They ran out of ideas. That's what we all get when you chase ratings and profits. Makes an unenjoyable experience.
Yeah man cos rally is proper popular innit.
I’d say this is the opposite. It’s like these two expansions exist in response to the delisting of previous expansions
Very cool video black panthaa
much better than the hot wheels expansion. also EVENTUALLY you are much better off with a slower car or an A class ride on these races. narrow roads, tight corners. really cool expansion.
The dialogue......, i can't stand it.
Garbage tier content from Xbox. Agree with the Steam reviews. Just copy and pasted, waste of money imo. It's not even a real rally. Wide roads etc.
You need High end S1 to S2 Rally's for Alejandras team, it's actually more road than anything else, but the zones/traps want high speeads, I wound up rallying out a Divo, and the Sian, and of course used the Hoonigan RS200 on most races. I finished every thing besides smashin boards in about 5 hours, on pro difficulty, manual shifting and mostly first person.
the Sian is AMAZING with MY tune, no other tune does work a crap lol, same with the Divo, and every other car i used.
It has to be said despite the poor size of the map the concrete roads are by far the best cruising roads in any Forza game, what it lacks in size for cruising roads it makes up in quality in my humble opinion
Exactly I agree
They should do a street racing or touring car expansion even if we have to wait for the next game, just proper racing maybe on actual racetracks would be cool, i get so bored of doing the same aimless races across the map tbh
I wish the map was bigger and I also wish they added more "normal" cars rather than almost all buggies and trophy trucks
1:34 Rally is my favourite
8:08 I am not really interested in rally
Make up your mind pants 😂
HAHAHAHA rally is the most interesting Motorsport imo
To play in arcade form... Less so
The Lamborghini Sian was gifted to everyone during the Secret Santa event.
EA man plays rally expansion, his cognitive downfall is immeasurable
the fact that this guy doesn't like the expansion actually speaks good about it.
One Last Expansion dlc should be something like Uphill and Downhill racing plus with a few Time Attack bodykits for our Jdm cars like a few civics and Toyota the iconic ones should get great extreme bodykits for maximum time attack and i think that can be amazing after this ^-^
Uphill and Downhill should be on a Beautiful mountain with great roads for that kind of racing
Love this expansion. The map is alot of fun despite being small. Takes me back to FH1 days
Best expansion ever
Imo Hot Wheels is way worse than this
There already was a street and drag racing expansion that was added via a Forza Horizion 2 expansion with fast and furious 2
The new map is better than the main one lol
By far the hot wheels expansion in horizon 5. Recycled from horizon 3. The roads in the rally dlc plus the already big number of rally cars in forza 5 makes it really nice too roam around. If lancia fiat and alfa would come back i would be satisfied
Good to see Theo tries off the Forza Rally Adventure expansion!!
@1:16 *Theo laugh*
I'm enjoying this expansion so far. Mainly for the roads tbh.
It’s good i just think its too small and short to play through. Also the cars seemed boring to me, we only got one real rally car and the rest was just trucks very similar to ones we already have
I finally witnessed a Theo W online. Let’s go!!! 😤😤👏👏🔥🔥🔥
The roads are much much better than both the main game and hot wheels expansion
Plus playing the races in rally mode is also fun, not knowing if you are winning or losing, so you are constantly trying to drive better till you reach the finish line.
This expansion is fine in my opinion
With only 1 actually rally car as well, I genuinely don't see the point unless you REALLY wanted more of the same
Most exciting part of this one is anti lag and launch control... Best additions for Drag and Drift Cars
Imo, it should be narrower and more handling based.
i actually really like this dlc because even though its basic on the surface, the map/road layout is probably the best they've ever done, and using a slammed drift transit van on a rally stage is something that you cant do in any other game
the helicopter is super annoying though especially in the night races
Theo, if you say that this is the worst expansion in Forza History, just remember we had a Halo expansion that was only a CAR
He's here complaining about co-driver shout out and it's unnecessary because of mini map. Why don't you turn off the mini map as you play the whole expansion.
which lambo was that you were talking about?
They’ve been saying superstar instead of my name since day one
Bro when form saying peace to piss 😂
The fact Theo thinks this is a downgrade shows that he knows nothing about racing games all he cares about is muh MW2005
ngl, after playing through the whole campaign the expansion is actually very good. expansion 1 still is better IMO, but expansion 2 is very much worth it. honestly, you were too critical about the expansion.
I’m not disappointed for my money’s worth but yeah considering the fh5 map was already basically just a giant open world jungle and off-road,so alot of rally already,so they basically just added to what we already had🫤
forza horizon try not to be the most boring racing game to ever exist challenge, IMPOSSIBLE!!
The new DLC is awesome... Play Ground games should be proud of themselves for creating this masterpiece and bringing 'fun' back to Forza.. Challenging tracks with superb visuals.. Doubt i'll be heading back to the main map any time soon...
dont forget pants ingame name is sausage
It is the best expansion in PC gen. Forza history in my opinion. I never ever had a chance to try FH and FH2. But from FH3 until now, this is the best expansion, for me. I love rally and twisty roads. Also, I love trophy trucks. So, win win for me!
I would had prefer a police theme expansion.
Or a race track expansion with a mix of motorsport.
Maybe even another collaboration expansion like Cars 1 , 2 , 3 for example maybe even cyberpunk 2077 with Night City.
I recommend playing without the mini map it makes it a much better experience.
Alot of people saying that this is a good update..
Theo that doesn't like the game : the worst update
Man have a break, have a kitkat
I said the update is good
I downloaded the expansion and once it started up, my game crashed. So I had to re install it again and now it works. So far it’s pretty good though
The map gives fh2 Storm island vibes and the expansion itself is straight from fh1's rally expansion
I think the resolution issues are actually to do with your HUD scaling, at least for me on 1440p that's the issue.
The technicality of the roads is on point. I think Playground Games nailed this expansion. I do wish it was a larger map but thankfully the way it was designed it feels larger than it seems.
Just put "paint it black" in the background of a rally race, you'll have fun.
I love it, it's back to being a race car game, me vs the road, its so much fun. If the main game had roads like this it would be the best game ever.
Hot wheels 2 is the worst expansion they've done because after 5 minutes of playing it, I just thought I was back on horizon 3. Nowts really changed.
Kinda bugs me that a rally DLC doesn't have much in the way of rally cars
