You make the most beautiful cards, and you make it look so easy! Thank you for the great ideas and inspiration. I didn’t know how to do mirror images & I’ve had trouble with older stamps sticking to my blocks! I’m gonna get busy now! 🥰
Love your video's. I am new to stamping and I have learned so much. I use the sheet that the cling labels come on to cover the stamps. This seems to work so they don't stick to the plastic cover. Thanks for sharing all your ideas.
I just started w/ some stampin up products in the last yr and when the cling mounts came out I took the leftover sections of the sheets and just placed that on the clear mounts I have, works very well -can trim to any size and even held my clear mount bear plaid stamp (only used strips along the sides) very well. I did notice it works best to make sure the cling mount material is in the same direction as far as the sticky sides would go on the stamp set - one side is a stronger more permanent glue for the sponge back and the other is the slightly less tacky cling side.
Hi Jackie...love the video...love your sweet little bird cards...but especially the tips on using the blends...hoping my order arrives soon...can't wait to use those blends...cheers from Aussieland :)
I'm sorry, I have a hearing problem and could NOT hear all of your video and tips, if you gave any. I understand what you meant by not coloring on your card bse with S. Blends but, didn't completely understand about the mirror stamping? Is there another video out there, with Closed Captioning, that I could watch? I'm really sorry to have to ask, I love watching your videos, I learn something new all the time. TFS!
GREAT video w/SUPER TIPS, Jackie! LOVE the Mirror Image of the birds! :-)). How do you clean off the ink from the mat??? Did I miss that step?? Like the “blends coloring” tips, too! And WONDERFUL idea to help the “older cling stamps” to stick better w/just a little liquid glue! ALL very helpful to me! BTW, I liked the note cards you shared here, too! :-)). Thanks so much for sharing n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! :-)
@@KlompenStampersJackieBolhuis I was tickled pink to try this technique as I do a lot of landscape stamping and trying to get a true mirror image in a water scene of the moon. I use your technique and just flipped the stamp around to stamp the mirror image in the lake and it worked perfectly! Thanks again.
Hi Jackie. I got super excited when I saw this tutorial so as I have got up early and while my brain was still fresh I thought I would have a go. The first one I used the plastic from a EK Success scoring tool and that worked but as it was so slippery. I also tried the case from my brand new Free as a Bird stamps and that worked also. I just tried stamping it onto another acrylic block and that worked as long as I had a something soft under it. Thank you for bringing sunshine into my Den from a grey damp morning in Wales GB. I hope this message hasn't come through twice. Luvs and Hugs Wendy xxx
