Well , I went to the bank got a opened box of $1 coin mixed , except for this particular roll of the Washington dollar coin roll , so after inspecting the coins found out 20 out of the roll with this error , Merry Christmas to me . Thanks
Great find! I have the same coin, but instead of the doubling, every word of the edge lettering is upside down, with mild doubling upside down in one spot where the date 2007 D is in a blank open spot out of nowhere.
So what happened about the coin? If it's a discovery it would have to be authenticated first. Just asking because I just found a 2008 mint dollar of john Quincy Adams with this. I don't know what it really is.
