I thought Daioh was the name of the final boss. I'm disappointed to see that he is a lot smaller than he appeared in the intro (the size of a tall building as opposed to the size of a planet). The final boss would have been a lot more interesting if you were able to take him out piece by piece, starting with the legs and working your way up to the head, but alas the final boss is an anticlimax compared to the rest of the game.
