I used to live in SA and one thing i miss most is the incredible fashion diversity. everyone has a unique sense of fashion and i love seeing people walking around wearing interesting outfits that clearly show their taste 💜 this video reminded me how lucky i was to experience this amazing fashion in real life, not just from behind a screen

I love SA! I've been there twice. The first time was for work in Cape Town. That visit led to me returning for two weeks with friends to Johannesburg and Cape Town. Each city has its own flavor and styles. I've made friends there and am already planning a return trip soon.

I love videos like this. It's not just a bunch of rich kids showing off how much money they spent to impress each other, it's an earnest look into the culture of a group of people who were marginalized within their own country for hundreds of years and have found a way of expressing themselves in spite of it. It's not something anyone else does or even can do, and I respect your desire to do it.

This is amazing content Icy! You really made us feel proud as South Africans who are onlookers and budding enthusiasts of the global fashion scene. Another thing I have to commend is the use of South African music in this documentary; not only did you shine a light on the fashion pioneers here but also the local musicians and I think that was so fire. Basically, Fashion in Johannesburg is more Hype and big brands and all about the flex. Whilst Cape Town is more underground, skater, and luxury and all contributes to the “Cape Town Aesthetic” which you’ll see everywhere. Like girls in Cape Town be wearing Vivienne Westwood and Prada boots I mean damn. Fashion culture in SA is 🔥
