This large theme park is close to Rome and features 5 roller coasters along with a variety of other attractions including dark rides, water attractions and flat rides. In this vlog we share on ride POV's from all of the major attractions at the park, including Shock, a fantastic launch coaster!

I love ITALY my wonderful husband and I honeymooned in Sorrento way back in May 27th 1978. Love the views, culture, food, everything. Just my humble opinion
We got lost and ended up lost in private housing area, a small back street. Then....we bump into the owners of a small Italian cafe that we frequented weekly in our small village lol. Unbelievable their parents lived nearby and they put us in the right direction bless them

For those confused by the winx removal, in 2019 the management of the park changed, Rainbow (winx and other cartoons producer) is no longer co-owner of the park, so all attractions with cartoon references were eliminated, except Huntik, which due to its importance is maintained and the parks continues to pay the license
In the last 6 years there have been huge investments and the profits are increasing, and the new coaster is not just a rumor ;D

About the maintenance worker in the dark ride, I recently went to Thunder dolphin in Tokyo and there was a maintenance worker just scrubbing the contact brushes for the trains at the station while the train was cycling, probably less dangerous but still crazy especially when considering the rigorous safety procedures they have there! Great to see you guys returning to an older park that you covered!!
That seems very strange, especially with how strict they are in Japan!

Usually, the river rapids' rides are pretty tame. If not that, basically a lazy river. This did not disappoint! 😂 Thank you, Charlotte, for riding the water rides for our entertainment! 😂

Awwwww, poor Charlotte, I'll feel so sorry for her with that wet ride. I didn't realise she was that terrified of the water rides, I thought she was messing around a bit other times she's been on. She looked so upset, poor girl. I do hope she's ok and best she doesn't go on them in the future. :(
From just looking at the vlog you filmed on your own 8yrs ago it looks like the water effects on the rapids have either been fixed or cranked up

The park used to be named Rainbow Magicland with Rainbow being an Italian animation studio that made the TV shows for Huntik and Winx Club. That Gattobaleno VR ride used to be a Winx Club ride which is probably why you remember the dolls from that. They must've lost the license and have had to swap out the Winx ride, but at least the Huntik one lives on!
Honestly strange that they kept Huntik. And since Nickelodeon is no longer a partner, we probably won’t be seeing Winx in theme parks anytime soon.

I think you may have already done this but I really think it improved the vlogs, When you go to parks that don’t allow on ride filming, I love it when you put in just an official POV with permission from someone else’s video because we love to see what the rides like onride

4:20 I totally agree, I really feel like they were planning for an indoor section at the beginning there but ran out of money. Kind of makes sense with the lack of theming in the queue too. It looks like one of the better Maurer coasters. But you can see the "run out of money' in quite a few rides like you pointed out. They really need some investment in that one major stand out attraction. Looks like they put their money into a smaller water park. Which has it's perks. A smaller water park can attract the families not looking for all the hub bub. We used to go to "Water Mania" in Orlando and it was a small, family owned waterpark that competed with Wet N' Wild. And we almost always went there just because it was smaller, easier to park, get in and not much walking (like a 4 acre place, at most) and didn't have to deal with the crowds of Wet N' Wild. But, their rides didn't really compete.
Oh man the rapids really got Charlotte! Howling 😂

We just visited four parks a little further north in Italy, where it peaked at around 34°C. How you managed 38°C is beyond me. Even the Italians really struggled where we were 😅

It’s always nice to see a video that takes you on a tour of a different theme park.
Now, if I were to improve MagicLand and make it on par with the other amusement parks in Italy (i.e. Mirabilandia), here’s what I would do:
- Give some of their coasters a much-needed fresh coat of paint.
- Add in the rumored dark ride section on Shock.
- I agree with you, the park’s spinning coaster - Cagliostro, has tons of potential. In the next few years, we could see some props, more lighting effects, and add some additional theming.
- Add in some more shaded areas.
- It’s been 13 years since the park has opened a new coaster. I've feel that MagicLand could benefit from opening a brand-new one. I think that a GCI Wooden Coaster, Vekoma Suspended Thrill Coaster (STC) and an Intamin Blitz Coaster (similar to Jurassic World Velocicoaster) could do wonders for the park.
- Add in a few flat rides, family and thrill.
- Bring back the observation point on Yucatán.
I've feel that with these improvements, MagicLand could become much better than it already is.
BTW, I'm excited to see what park is next on the horizon with your trip to Italy.

This reminds me of the theme park from Beverly Hills cop 3.
Probably mentioned this on the older video, but for those who don't want to go back: Rainbow is an Italian animation/film company ala Studio 100 to the Plopsa Parks. For us in the states, the Jetix series W.I.T.C.H. would be what we would recognize the company from. I don't think they actually used any IP's from the Rainbow brand and seemed to be only there for brand recognition ala Tayto Park (now Emerald Park)

Nice vlog guys from Magicland in Italy. The highlight was definitely Charlotte getting soaked on the water rapids ride that was hilarious. The following water ride looked good fun Charlotte missed out in that but I can understand she doesn’t like the water over her head. Some good looking family coasters there too. Amazed hardly anyone there though. Staffing issues and being shouted out is out of order.

This cheered me up with a shocking day I had at Thorpe park today. Queued for stealth for two hours due to it going down many times, sending out empty seats and slow operations 😢
