It’s so hypocritical that when a male director has a woman twerk it’s objectifying but when it’s a female director it’s woman empowerment. Disgusting.

That’s the poison that is neo feminism. I don’t get it either. Women assume being hyper sexual is being strong, when in reality they’re catering directly to the misogyny they so hate. It’s all so gross.

As a Woman, im so freaking tired of this “women empowerment StRonG FeMalE character” sh*t. Every time it’s the same bullsh*t under the guise of “we’re representing ALL WOMEN!” But holy hell, women have other character traits besides FiGhTinG tHe pAtRiArcHy and being angry about everything all the time. And then they take one of my FAVORITE female characters and do the EXACT SAME THING TO HER when she is NOTHING like that and does NONE of the things they have her do in the show.. I’m talking about Galadriel of course. It’s exhausting and frustrating. And then when I, a woman, take issue with this, I’m just sexist or some bullsh*t like that

I was having a conversation with one actor, who I met at my store, about this trend in Hollywood. I told him that I was hungry for some original stories, after the years of remakes and legacy films. His reply was interesting. He admitted to me that writers are afraid of writing new scripts and stories, because of the cancel culture mixed in with constantly moving goalposts about what's offensive, or not. Today, the newly developed script might be seen as riveting, or maybe hysterical, but next week it could offend a feminist, or a liberal, or what have you.
Those weren't his words, exactly, but this was definitely what he conveyed to me.

Same with the North American comic book industry. As a collector for many years then to see the garbage being released current day is frustrating to say the least. When the woke took over writers became afraid to give the characters any depth. One example is Luke "Power Man" Cage a black superhero from the 70's total bad-ass who is now written like any throw away generic forgettable character. Back in the day all characters were written with flaws male, female, white, black, etc. The superheroes journey was something to experience in comics as a kid, not anymore less the writer be labeled a bigot, misogynist, blah, blah, blah. I tell people to read comics from the past they have incredible story lines. Today's books aren't worth the paper their printed on. That's why Manga is dominating sales over anything published here in the West.

As an author, I can say that there are probably thousands of us out there with original works in drama, history, horror, sci-fi and fantasy that deserve to be made into feature films or mini-series. Still, Hollywood just keeps retreading the same crap because they fear risking money on something new and untried. And as for Marvel, the quality of their shows and movies has dropped exponentially since Avenger: Endgame, and She-Hulk seems to be dragging the bottom of the barrel. And before she complained about the cat calling she flips out on them and says she handles her anger more than banners hulk. This series is an insult to the comic version. She-Hulk is just there because she's a woman & nothing else. She's also degrading towards men & thinking being cat-called is somehow the same, if not worse, as getting abused as a kid, having dual personality disorder, having anger issue, having PTSD, got hunted by the government, had to leave your gf because her dad wanted to kill you & take your powers.

I feel like Christopher was the kind of character who wouldn’t leave everyone behind. In the Disney movie, it was sort of like Peter Pan where he used them as a belief and grew up from that belief (if that makes sense somehow), kinda like how Wendy believed in Peter and told stories about him to her brothers and children. Christopher simply grew up and forgot about them over time, without meaning to. His daughter stumbled upon them one day and brought Pooh to see Christopher (he knew it was Chirstopher’s daughter by one look and it warmed my heart). Christopher admitted he never meant to leave everyone behind, he simply grew up. That’s not the vibe I get from this at all.

To say that women know more pain than men is so close minded and clearly a statement made by a woke woman. Just as “they can’t understand female pain”, we as woman can never truly understand the male struggle. It’s isolating, it’s difficult, and it can be absolutely soul crushing to be a man in this society. The pressure is unimaginable for men. We all have struggles that are unique to our genders and we should never delegitimize each other’s pain. Overall, If the concept that someone else can also experience great imaginable pain is offensive, some serious reevaluation needs to be done. It’s so unbelievably self-centered and close minded. Ultimately, it is an utterly repulsive way of thinking.

You are just incorrect, this isn’t original in the slightest, this is the same as “jokes” in “adult” animation that has been done a million times. It’s just not funny and is detestable at this point. Stop ruining media for kids.

Sometimes, low budget movies like winnie the killer will almost always turns out to be good. The plot isn't that bad, friends being so sad and felt that you abandoned them for a long time, not knowing their lives or what happened to them all those years. Simple plots like these is what makes movies solid. I'd watch it cause at least it has creativity with the characters, cute and cuddly friends turned murderers and butchers. It kinda fits the "dark secret conspiracy" surrounding Disney characters tbh.
As for the She-Hulk series, that's straight up puke-shit of a show. Coming from the mind of a delusional, social climbing, and insecured wamen. A tryhard deadpool personality shit-poop of a character

I don't really understand the number of people defending the Blood and Honey film. It looks like a cheap, basic slasher film that offers nothing besides the shock value of seeing a beloved children's character perverted into a bloodthirsty killer. I understand that people hate Disney at the moment and they're excited for this film because they see it as a slight against the company, but I doubt this film will really do anything to hurt them. And what really annoys me is how it's shitting on A.A Milne's legacy for cheap thrills. Say what you will about Disney, but at least the original animated adaptations captured the spirit of his work. And I say this as someone who likes a lot of horror films, by the way. I just don't believe children's properties should be merged with the genre.

That's the point you all seem to miss it's a generic slasher film 🤣 people are excited for these because we love the dumbness of them. Hence why they keep remaking Friday the 13th and nightmare on elm Street and Texas chainsaw massacre they're never good movies but they're always fun movies.

Hollywood hasn't change this slasher format since it started with Halloween, Friday the 13th and the like. Same format, different character names, different settings. Just reading the title is enough to know the entire story. There is nothing new in Hollywood and nothing worth my time or money. It haven't been to a cinema since the original Lion King and have no reason to leave my part with my money. Why should I pay money just to view their woke agenda? I see it for free everyday and I'm sick of their immorality.

cause the movie took 2 weeks to film from a small Indi studio of 9 employees in the uk and the Netherlands. the chances of it being woke are zero.

    1st off…nice ad transition 👏🏻.
It’s a super cheap indie film. Much on the level of Sharknedo. But honestly, even cheaper. It’s only getting notoriety because of the summer hype when it leaked. It’s not meant to be a cultural phenomenon or Spielberg film lol. But when EVERYONE in media talks about it, it’s going to seem bigger than it normally would. This movie would’ve just went straight to free movie apps like Tubi, but now it’s probably going to some theaters 🤣

Winnie the Pooh being turned into a horror flick makes me sick in all honesty. You took a beautiful, innocent children’s character, and turned him into a cold hearted monster. Just no.

I love most of your takes, however when you say there’re ways to watch without financially supporting (I think you said you don’t technically support that) I think if you really think that it’s a bad take. I get it if it’s Amazon and Disney and stuff because they’re way outta control but because they’re independent film makers, saying that is kind of a bad take. But still, love the CS and Brett. 👍

While I dislike most slasher movies, I could see this working with a good script. A dark evil version of toy story 3... Isn't this what happened to the evil teddy bear? It was abandoned and turned villainous? It is an idea with some potential, but the execution seems very disapoinitng.
