I think (i don't have the beta so did not play with it) - that you can simply create a new layer on top of the layer with the generative content and remove/fix whatever you need. I believe it samples from all layers below it.
I used the remove tool in Photoshop (normal platform) when it first came out but sometimes Photoshop would crash when I used it. Now when I select the Remove Tool I get the Stop Sign as a curser. Why should this happen? When the Remove too worked, it did a good job.
My AI denoiser in LRC is acting weird today, leaving spots all over the photo. Any idea why? I can only find that other people get error messages when using denoise, but not that they get spots all over.

Another version of these tools for Lightroom users would be appreciated.
It’s only Photoshop Beta at the moment although someone mentioned the erase is available in the latest Lightroom
The Remove Tool is not limited to Photoshop Beta; it is available in the current production version.
That's helpful for some but Anthony's video is about using both so you need to use the Beta.
remove tool is now in current 24.5 of regular photoshop
So when will this beta become available as an update?
No one has said, but I'm personally betting it will be released in October as part of Adobe MAX.
