The tour guide was FANTASTIC!!! Loved hearing him tell the story.
Castle and Key is by far the best tour I have been on (out of 12 or so). They show you the entire process from water to rickhouse and the buildings and grounds are amazing. HIGHLY recommend it if you are in the area.
I was also in the neighborhood, drove past this while at Glenn’s Creek. If you like history and good whiskey, also check out Glenn’s Creek
We want more Krocaine Chris
As a Kentucky native I really appreciate you showing off so much of our state on your channel! Thanks, and Merry Christmas, T.J.!
Castle and Key is a great facility. I had the opportunity to get a tour before it was fully open to the public years back and had an opportunity to return to see the finished product last year. The amount of time and money they dumped into the facility is unreal.
Thanks for the tag al ong. Really cool
Love these videos. Thank you brewzle team for making all them for us to enjoy! 🥃
Tyler is a kid I went to high school with and am lucky to call a great friend. Awesome tour
Thanks for putting subtitles when you went inside to drink, those people in the background wouldn't stfu 😂
Really like your channel and videos. WAS a pretty much exclusive Bourbon drinker prior to approx. age 50 ( 12yrs ago ) until I "revisited" Irish whiskey via an after-dinner Coffee (ive been on a mission to try as many Brands as I can afford ever since (lol) ). Redbreast 12 Cask Strength was a BIG hit for me ( tbh the price / avail. keep me from making it my "regular" go-to (lol). My runners up (price considered) include Redbreast 12 (NON cask strength), Teelings Small Batch, Kilbeggan Small Batch Rye, Powers Gold Label, AND on the "lite" (ABV, age wise side) and most affordable and great tasting (for the price imo so-far): Paddys. My sampling search continues and so far im happy to report that not a dud was discovered in the "sampling"; and there were a few more Distillers that didnt make the list here. Again, great Channel. The Distillery "deep dives (if You will)" make the vids great (for me, anyway). 👍🥃
This might be my favorite tour video. Great information. Great guide
My wife and I were there in August for our anniversary and we had the same guide. He was real down to earth.
I took the tour and did not get into the rick house. I have not enjoyed a product from there but the tour is one to do if in the area. The history is too good to miss. Then go to Glenn's Creek around the corner
What n amazing beautiful place whomever owns that is lucky I could just imagine how awesome it must be
Wife and I visited last year. Beautiful facility! Unfortunately, we had a staff member that was quite rude to us, but still enjoyed the visit. Their Cask Strength Wheated Bourbon is delicious! I'm on the lookout for the cask strength rye finished in VDN barrels.
awe that poor banker, said nobody EVER
Turtle Creek crew in the house!
Hoping you could do Hard Truth visit someday if your around Indiana. Or any Indiana distillery. Love the videos guys.
TJ the bourbon knight of the round table. 107 is his Excalibur.
From every Distillery I have been to that is my favorite one with so much history and also the old crow I walked around the H Taylor Distillery when it was in Ruins
Great video. I enjoyed the history lesson. Makes me want to come up there and take the tour.
I really don’t ever even drink. Much less bourbon and still think that would be an awesome place to go see. Looks like a ton of fun.
Amazing Video; Thanks So Much
It’s a bit out of your normal hunting areas, but next time you’re in western Kentucky you should visit a place called “Barrelheads” in Owensboro, KY. They may not have any allocated at the time, but they have a phenomenal bourbon/scotch wall, and an amazing tasting bar that’s reasonable. CHEERS!!
aight so i definitely need to make time for this place on my next visit to the area
Loved the video and the history
really really cool video today, boss. loved this
We just did that same tour a month ago and we loved it!
Thanks for the tour.
I had a single barrel Restoration Rye that was a pick by a knife maker that was hosting a party on the day of my visit. It was excellent!
Glenn’s Creek down the street is great.
Take care of yourself TJ. I’m sure you have a lot going on. May god bless you and your family.
Great Place
Went there in October and didn’t get a chance to tour but did try a flight and sat by the water. Ended up with bottle of the rye! Super delicious. Will definitely go back for that tour. Great video!
“Jill is a very lucky woman idk what she did to deserve me” Speak yo truth 😂
this is my favorite tour that i've done
Really cool neat place...I must go visit that place 🥃
Awesome, I was there a month ago.
Beautiful grounds and worth a visit to check out but I didn't care for their whiskey offerings.
Jill is a lucky woman!😂 say it like you mean it!
Wish you would tell us when you’re doing certain tours like I new your tour guide I could’ve gotten you some special stuff
Drink Whisky, live forever. On it.
Are we gonna get a buffalo trace product pick?
@11:46 ..... "Thats what she said" lol sorry. Im childish
Bottle Kill!!
Was he serious about ‘a pint of whiskey’, because GOOD Lord!
tyler was good, i listened too and understood everything he said.
Castle and Key is great to drive past heading to Glenn’s Creek
Glenn’s Creek is making some awesome stuff.
Finally made it to Georgia have found most of the bottles I’ve been looking for all but the coy hill found it just won’t pay $400 for it
In turtle Creek was one of the shops I stopped at say hi to the owners for me
That's cheap. I had to pay 550 for my coy hill
You are a liver killer sir, glad to be on the train
I think it's just a shame that the E.H. Taylor brand can't go back to being made the E.
H. Taylor castle.
Say come join the party one more time 😂
Please tell me you went to glens creek
For all the non-bourbon drinkers who are attached to a bourbon nut, this is your #1 place to go on the entire trail. They have tons of other spirits for purchase and sampling. As you can see, the facility is absolutely massive and sprawling. Beautiful stuff for sure. Going to BT, CK, and WR when you go to Frankfort definitely seems to be the top three. Not too far of a drive away is also Four Roses, and you're maybe an hour from OF, Michter's, and others like my personal favorite right now in Peerless in Louisville. It's a good experience.
Thanks for the analysis! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I just wish their stuff tasted better...
Maybe 5 years from now
I actually know your tour guide XD
You were right down the street from Glenn's Creek Distilling. I hope you checked it out. If not, you'll have some splainin' to do. 🤨
I guess there will need to be some splainin' then
@@davidmeier1811 Holy cow! You're Dave from GCD, aren't you?
@@davidmeier1811you’re making some killer stuff. Hope to get to do a grounds walk this spring.
They have a great tour and pretty grounds. Felt like they were pushing their other spirits more than the bourbon when I was there last April
We went to Castle and Key last year on the day we were heading back home. Went back over Thanksgiving weekend this year and finally did the tour. Phenomenal place! Ive been following their stuff for awhile now, I enjoy alot of the stuff Marianne Eaves (I know she's not there anymore) does. Beautiful place! Can't get over them charging a dollar per cherry for their Old Fashioneds though.
Fancy story about the distillery - but we all know exactly why the current brand decided to open those doors again. They saw the old Taylor Distillery as a easy way to use the clout of BT's brand to help increase sales quickly. Expensive endeavor, for sure, but that's the only reason why they bought that property instead of doing something more cost effective. It's basically a marketing expense to buy the old Taylor facility and reopen it with your label.
I hope Castle and Key eventually makes good whiskey but I don't think they timed this very well. Their juice is STILL fairly young and everyone else is releasing higher age statements - even craft. They probably are in a massive red hole on the P&L and they are hoping Sazerac will buy them.
I'm sorry, 'throw the rag in?' what the heck? I have never heard that phrase in all my years on this earth. is that a local phrase?
#bottlekill cheers
Guy in the back ground sshhhh. I can’t hear her or you lol
This upstate NY? Not a local voice on site?

Great video, TJ! Love the history. Thanks for doing distillery tours.
Merry Christmas!
Cheers! 🥃
Very cool. Too bad the whiskey is shit. Their tour guides should spend less time throwing sly shade at the other distillers.
Yeah, they come off really unjustifiably snooty
Cool facility. Their bourbon isnt very good though
EH Taylor started the distillery two years before he was born?
Taylor was born in Feb 1830. You might be thinking of his nephew I think it was.
Unwatchable -- yap yap yap.. Lord have mercy 🙏🏽
$75k biweekly changed my mindset and behavior, my goals, my family and l've to say this video has inspired me a lot!!!!❤️..
Hello, how do you achieve such biweekly returns? As a single parent i haven't been able to get my own house due to financial struggles, but my faith in God remains strong.
Thanks to my co-worker whom God used to give a great opportunity of crossing paths with 'Mrs ELIZABETH ANN LARSON'.
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Elizabeth Ann Larson) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her 😊 from Brisbane Australia🇦🇺
I have heard a lot of wonderful things about Elizabeth Ann on the news but didn't believe it until now. I'm definitely trying her out
I think the finance/investment scammers posted on the wrong video!!
