BINI-EBI FESTIVAL IN OGULAGHA/TOMPOLO ORGANIZED BINI-EBI FESTIVAL/IJAW CULTURAL PRACTICE

Bini-Ebi festival is an annual festival organized by Tompolo annually to worship the river goddess who he believes gives him wealth and protection.
Tompolo during this festival prayed for the entire Ijaw nation and also prayed for the country Nigeria for peace, progress, and unity among Nigerians.
Bini-Ebi festival annually takes place at the seashore of Ogulagha, Focados terminal Brutu local government area delta state, Nigeria.
Bini-Ebi festival is one of the oldest deities of the Ijaw people, this practice has been in existence for ages, and now its been carried out or worshiped by the General Tompolo, GOC, Government Ekpompolo.
The Ijaw people has a very rich culture and this is one of such as both male and female dressed in traditional artires and dance the Ijaw cultural dance in different styles.
