    Nice work! 😁 In the studio where I worked, we would use cornstarch to prevent sticking. We always used slabs for what we made.We made bowls in general the way you did, but when it was dry enough we would do the final edge of the bowls by upturning each on sandpaper to even it out, then we'd soften the rim with a damp sponge.

    Great project! I love the berry bowl! I just made my first try today here in my ceramics class in Denmark, can't wait to see the result :)

    Hey Mia!! Just wondering what glaze technique you used for this?? Would you recommend quite a thin consistency by adding water to prevent holes being blocked

    When you cut the foot ring, one end of the coil looked exactly like a finger nail!

    Wouldn't it be easier to set the bowl over the mold while you were putting on the foot and handles? So it's shape wouldn't distort?

    Hello. I made the same one, it turned out so cool. But I began to clean it with a thread and it broke. Clay for modeling. What did I do wrong?

    Loved this video! Quick question sorry, why did you wrap it in plastic when drying overnight? What does the plastic do? :)

    • @alphasolbravo9077
      @alphasolbravo9077 ปีที่แล้ว

      maybe because it helps hold in moisture while "drying" a bit more ?

    When smoothing a rim use vinegar to moisten fingers

    So I have the Duncan pigments, but I don’t know if I need to do double firing or what. Can someone guide me ?

    Hey Mia! One question- do you keep a slip container for each type of clay that you use or is it ok to mix for instance the clear and speckled clays that you sell in the studio? Thanks for the awesome videos!

    • @PotterytothePeople
      @PotterytothePeople  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      different slip for each type :)

      If you do not have the right slip you can use vinegar in place of slip
