I love watching this guy work. Tough, dangerous job with little concern for safety, but you can tell he loves it. The way he smiles, looks like he's having the time of his life. That's how a day at work should feel.
Me gusta y ver el trabajo de este chico pregunto y porque ya no lo he visto párese un salta montes tiene energía y lo contagia a uno a ver cuando lo buelvo a ver saludos
sometimes we have to do what we do to survive, backward grasshopper is very good at his job, despite the danger ,very good video, try very hard to stay safe.
What is satisfying in this video? I have been hurt at work too many times not to find this operation crazy dangerous, early retirement with a permanent disability pretty much garanteed.
Even if hard injuries are entirely avoided, hearing loss and lung problems are almost guaranteed. The crazy thing is that these two problems could be greatly reduced with wearing proper protection. The bosses are criminally responsible not insisting on such protection as standard.
I guess technically there is no PPE violation here because no amount and type of PPE would make it okay to be down there in the pit poking at the gravel with a stick.
Well that guy needs to be in a kung fu movie. The way he moves. What are the pieces are wood used for? That would hurt if you got hit in the leg by one of those big rocks. Much respect for that guy
@@RichardCurrie not necessarily, it is all about suspending the cargo from the conveyor. The conveyor would not budge if the load of the cargo was resting directly on it
I used to work in a quarry, as well as doing a lot of infrastructure work. It was satisfying to watch what you blasted from the ground, and turned into finished product, and then “install” it for the final product, a road or parking lot. Occasionally, we would have a “rip-rap” blast, and I had to pull it out with a huge excavator. The large chunks went in a separate pile, and the small stuff went into the “jaw” to be crushed into different grades of rock. This one worker liked to stay in the “shed” on the jaw, and smoke his pot. 95 degrees Fahrenheit in the shade, probably 120 or better in that little but. I would hide a fair size boulder in the bucket if my excavator, and put another load if fill on top. The guy that scooped the rock into the crusher would scoop it up, and start dumping it into the jaw shaker. That big rock would come out, and he would stop his loader, and look at me, 100 meters away. I would shrug my shoulders. The guy that watched the jaw would come out soon after, and flip me off. I would return the favor, and think, “I love you too!” You have to know that if a person can have fun while doing the job, you have a real asset! I would clean out four days worth of stone to be crushed in one shift. It’s almost beyond comprehension that some employers see that as an issue. WTF has the world come to?

What would be satisfying is seeing the job done.
I was thinking the same. The videos never show the start or the end!
This man in black is smart and brave I like to see him work even in other video
he has a nickname: grasshopper
ps: backward grasshopper
The way the load moves without having water stick it all together until it turns into a slurry.
So much safer.
Me encanta ver a este chico por su habilidad parece salta montes admiro su ajilidad bravo por el
Want to see the finish.
Me too
Unless you want to go empty it yourself be satisfied with what you've got.
Satisfying, too short

Да уж работенка нелегкая, и очень опасная однако. 🙄😬😕

No hardhat, no vest, no eye protection, no harness, no nothing. Boy OSHA would have a field day with this outfit.

@@mx2000 Dirty job but some sacrificial lamb has to do it I guess.
Good thing they don’t have osha😂
The protective equipment that would do in the most good is a respirator.
Bahahaha OSHA my ass. They kill one off they hire another the next day. Most of us call it natural selection, ya know Darwin awards.
No shoveling from sides ,it will trigger faster clearance
When you watch the video's in 2x it makes it look like you're always seconds from death, lol. Good work though you guys!
No serious. Where can I get this whole video?
How long does it take to completely empty a barge

The wood is to cover the conveyor while the boat is loaded .if they weren’t there no way would the conveyor be able to start up to unload .
@@alanswainson2683 Ha ha I see that makes sense
@@Radionut Also protects the conveyor when loading
Nothing new about it. Ppl in the world know their job very well......except for 95pct of politicians and 90pct big corporation heads.

Real hard working people.
Люблю смотреть как сыпятся камни
That convener is a fast one
What are you unloading?
What is being unloaded?
Ninja skills
How many tons were unloaded and will this material be crushed and made into aggregate or road base material?
That Young man knows how to move Material, But what happens if the Conveyor Belt breaks? How do you get the material off the Barge?
Shovel and determination
Why not push it from the top
Use "White noise for deep relaxation", better English. :)
Poderia continuar até o final
never until the end, they joke us
Why not let the video record til the end...
E uma pena esse vídeo não ir até o final
Good boy
👏👏👏👏👏👏🏴👍
Smart Boy
This is extremely scarey to watch.
Didn’t finish, very unsatisfying.
There is no intelligence required in this unloading. The side workers do nothing but watch and make believe they are helping with their shovels.
