Always a song to cheer my mood. When I was a kid we had three main animals, two dogs and a cat. One of those dogs was a golden lab named Cali (for California). She was the HAPPIEST dog ever! She loved to walk and have fun and loved everybody with a tail like a nunchuck to prove it, nothing could be on tables. She passed when I was around 16 due to tumor that couldn’t stop bleeding. Even when her day came, she was still the happiest dog alive. I love to listen to this song and remembering her ecstatic personality. RIP Cali, we’ll all love you

It’s true tho. I am skinny, but everyone eats too much. Really annoying because I hate eating (most of the time, candy and toast is good) I especially hate eating with other people.
Everyone wonders why I hate lunch, I wonder how they could like it.
A vet once told us of a Labrador who got into a 20kg bag of dog bikkies, it ate and ate until it spewed, continued eating, and eventually it's stomach ruptured and he couldn't save it.
They truly don't know when they've had enough and will eat themselves to death.

The old family dog was a lab mix. We got her as a stray and she had just finished nursing puppies, so she was close to the skinniest dog I'd ever seen For the first little while, we just kept feeding her and feeding her... turned out she LOVED to eat and of course it was nice to see her pack on the pounds, but she definitely got a bit chonky before we realized we'd actually have to restrict her food intake. Anyway, for the month or two she was a Fat Labrador, her nickname was Flabrador. Such a sweetie-pie. This song makes me happy because it reminds me of her. That's all.

Never seen this one until now, but boy I would have been obsessed with this when I was younger. My family has a black lab, she's turning 15 soon. For the entire time she lived with us, we would jokingly tell her that she's fat and flabby, and call her "fatso" (which she still responds to as if it's actually her name). She is a normal healthy weight but to us she's our little fatso.
