    You like to pack full of succulents. And they are beautiful - I wonder if u have videos of the same work, weeks or months later to show they have grown and what to do etc.. possible? Thanks

    that is gorgeous! you know me and the watering questions, but i was hoping you would do a video in weeks to come to show how you've watered, drained, and maintained this wreath, and finally where it will be displayed. thank you so much for this beautiful video!

    How do I care for a succulent wreath in the winter. Do I bring it inside or leave it outside?

    This is stunning. I am from Portland. Is this intended to be hung inside till summer? I have a protected front entry and would love to put something like this on my front door. Would it live this time of year outside?
    If I were to start my own succs from single leaves as you have shown before how long does it take before they are big enough to plant? Thanks so much for sharing your talent. Happy Valentines Day.

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Nancy Wirth The succulents I used in this project won't withstand any sort of freezing temperatures- they do best in temps above 40, so in my area, these will live inside until the danger of freezing passes and it's consistently warm out! :) If you were to start the succs from leaves, it will take quite a number of months to get them to the size of the ones I used. Definitely worth a shot, though! It's a really fun project! :) ~Laura

    I made a similar wreath for a wedding, and it came out great. However, some of the plants got soggy and died out. I was able to replace them and all is good. What did I do wrong?

    Hi Laura - I’ve been watching all your videos on creating succulent arrangements because I want to make a succulent monogram for my friend’s wedding as a little gift. I’m wondering if I can do this type of arrangement with Sempervivums like hens & chicks? Will they be ok in a moss form or do they need soil?

    Absolutely Beautiful! I love your videos. I would like to make succulent centerpieces on grape wood for my handfasting/wedding tables in September. Do you have any suggestions on how to attach them? Also, if I wanted to add a few live cut flowers, how would you suggest adding pieces of flower foam to the grape wood. thanks!

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +JediMasterMatt You can hot glue moss on to the wood then glue the succulents into the moss. You can see an example of how to do it in one of our recent videos - th-cam.com/video/Hhjb0L3hc2I/w-d-xo.html Good luck! :) ~Laura

    Hi, I did this in May/June. It looks fabulous on my east facing front porch where it gets I direct light most of the day. Now it's nearly October, and I don't know what to do with it. I'm considering bringing it inside to winter over in a bathroom with a South window, out of direct light until April/May. The other option is to deconstruct, but that seems such a shame. If I can winter it over I'd like to get another year out of it. Thoughts?

    • @Jack-oc2xq
      @Jack-oc2xq 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Louisa Jones I’m sure you’ve already done something by now but if you haven’t, I think the only option to overwinter it would be to put it under a grow light, it most likely won’t get enough light indoors during the winter and the succulents will stretch and ruin the look of the wreath.

    How long would this last?

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Amber Langdon It will last for quite a long time! If it's given the right amount of light and water, you can take cuttings and pop one out here or there as the others grow, and it will last indefinitely! :) A friend was telling me she was reading a gardening book where a lady kept one going for 14 years! ~Laura

    I bought a succulent wreath at the store and little by little the succulents started dying. Some succulents are still alive but it looks too bare now and I don't want to add more succulents. I find succulents hard to take care of. I'm wondering if I can reuse the wreath form by direct sowing seeds (herbs, flowers, etc) into the medium. This year, I grew the following from seed in my garden: morning glory, moonflower, johny jump up (viola tri color). Your thoughts?
