In theory, could this work lets say if it was a katana base? not it being glass but see through. like a strong tough plastic?? would the concept be the same?
this is less "how to draw transparency" and more "how to copy a photo of a transparent object", it's not usefull in every case where you don't have an exact reference, which i'm pretty sure no one who looked this up has, that's why we're here
This one was useful, I am overwhelmed by the variations of light and shadow.

In this case the glass is already transparent so this confuses the issue. How do you draw a solid object( or objects) with transparency?
