I love how Tommy is an introvert - but steps outside of his comfort zone ALL THE TIME. Even in this podcast he seems just a little awkward… but it’s super endearing and relatable. I ❤ Tommy.

I know this is irrelevant to the depth of the conversation but Nathaniel the colour of your shirt looks so good with your skin tone. It's giving me little aesthetic goosebumps.

A really great chat, I found it super interesting how Tommy was encouraged to put more of himself into the roadtrip video. It can be super uncomfortable sharing that level of vulnerability with an audience but sure enough, they resonated and it made for a great story. As you guys said, video seems to be one of the ultimate art forms that pulls so many things together, so it was great hearing your insights!

I love the idea of little groups! I organise meet and greets (that i call plant meetings cos it's not about me) and my focus is to have the people coming connect, so far i do a bit of just easy yoga things at the start and plant games. I'm gonna add the little groups to the next one! Thank you

26:24 - Yea, because Seek Discomfort channel videos have that old Yes Theory feeling, but with a much more interesting and mature thematics. It was a very good idea!

Nathan, this topic is a powerful issue for me. I have been worrying since a young boy to a 62 year old man today. The worries were often legitimate but the long term result was to waste most of my life in a state of fear. Now I see that everything worked out yet that time has now escaped any content or happiness. Worrying is a very destructive force.

When Nathan asked about Yes Theory doing things like going to Nepal and collecting hallucinogenic honey… and Tommy said it’s a good thing coz it expands people’s minds (I’m paraphrasing) - I agree. I think YT doing these types of things are great. Very eye opening and interesting.

It's been months since I last watched a 45 min long conversation. Such a connecting one as I myself struggle with the editing part of the videos that I've shot. I would love to meet you guys in person some day! Love from India 🇮🇳

Also - Nathan, you are an absolute legend in the way you drive a conversation. You’re a wonderful listener, and you articulate your thoughts so profoundly, in a way that keeps the conversation flowing and interesting. I only came across you today… and am bingeing. Thanks for being awesome.

Loved this Nate. Am in a process myself of putting myself out there for the first time, finishing up this video I've put so much effort into, and now thinking of how to proceed in the future. It's interesting, because I keep hearing the same message, that sometimes it's the simpler videos that get more traction. I also like to put a lot of effort into videos, and have that sense of accomplishment, but it's good to hear that all videos don't have to be like that

I just watched your podcast episode with Matt and had to watch this one! You do an awesome job Nathanial (Nate-haha) but I feel like at times you talk just a little too much compared to the guests. It would be a much better ratio if the guest spoke 70% and you’re speaking 30%. Just a suggestion! Awesome content! ❤️👏🏼

I was watching the last video (#007) and my first impression was that, it was just video of yours from the main channel, but without the "effort" to create a compelling visual story; And then I reached the 17:40 part, where you explain it. I have to say I kinda disagree. Yes, it is for you, but just as much as it is for the people that follow you.
The visuals are a part of the story you want to convey. You are not a journalist, you are exporting your thoughts, and sensibilities. Your pieces don't need to be editorial right? You're conveying your own mood and feeling that enhances your vision in this world. I think the visual part is also a huge part why people follow your main channel. It's a poetic philosophical debate and extremely beautiful.
But I do understand the argument you're making, and it's more than valid that you want to explore concepts in a more raw version, without a "visual aid".

Yes Theory's biggest 5million view vids are 3-5 years old. Yes theory was special because 3 guys trying to make it from broke. Now they (Robert) is RICH! YesTheory needs to be more about saving & changing lives, less about ROBERT's life. He's in all the thumbnails, even the video about Amar getting a passport.
