my kids watched it all of the time my daughter got a chance to be in a play she was about four years old and would not be in the play if she was not Dorthey, so her music teacher gave her a singing part and she sang over the rainbow. Well, that was five years ago her ;little sister was jealous so she dressed up like Dorthey.
Things I remember as a (former) munchkin: I was a freaking ugly child I was genuinely scared of the Wicked Witch of the West On one of the nights (I think this one) my mom accidentally put cooking spray in my hair while curling it in the kitchen (got the cans mixed up), but then realized that this night was the longest my curls stayed in I still have the little under skirt thingy to poof my dress I was mega jealous of the girl who got to be Coronel (she totally deserved it though) I felt like a kween being part of this

If I remember correctly, yeah. They also used a fire extinguisher for the wicked witch’s entrance. They had us munchkins run from it and hold our breathes so we wouldn’t breathe it in lol
omg Yeah! I was one of the munchkins and I can’t believe how low of a budget we had looking back. Backstage in a room where they kept all the munchkins they brought literal trash bags of popcorn so we would be good. The thing is though, they brought the leftovers to the Albert S Hall School for everyone in the school (just grades 4&5 lol) to eat. The gross thing tho; they had the munchkins dump uneaten popcorn in, meaning someone could have spit in their popcorn and then put it back in the trash bags. Waterville schools (and most schools really) have such a low budget that it’s sad

That cooking spray must’ve made your hair super stiff for it to stay curly that long.
I really loved being in this play! It was a big opportunity!
