The conflict is too complicated too digest. Why can't falling in love be in happier setting. But that imperial grandson is really good in acting. I am convinced that he is imperial blood 😂

It made cry when she was not he one who received the jade 😢it’s so heartfelt that the prince wants to give it to her but he have to make a right choice .After the wedding the Prince also got bit sick is pitiful because of being stress .
I love these Chinese dramas, they have such wonderful production, the actors are excellent and the costumes, settings, all very top notch tbh. Watched few in Netflix, this one isn't there. Used to be a big fan of Leslie Cheung and after he died I stopped watching a lot of Chinese films and shows, started having interest again thanks to few actors like Wang Xingyue that are so worthy to watch. I appreciate the upload!!. ❤
It's better to watch the actual series of 62 episodes. Something I should have done in the beginning to get the whole story line. From beginning to end.
The culture and teaching of the Chinese & Confucionism is 500 years before Christ and 1100 years before Islam so what's there to compare to Nothing significant to the Chinese.

The focus is debatable as it spent lots of time on the conflicts of the 3 brothers of the Emperor rather than the main achievement of the Ming Dynasty.
