Just watched 3 or 4 of your videos. I’ve been watching lots of build videos. But I was instantly impressed by how you seemed to picture things realistically and logistically. Earned a sub!
A lot of other builds I end up frustrated at one thing or another they did that didn’t make sense. And despite having huge impressive buildings it always seems disorganized and the rooms ill sized inside. But even with smaller builds you include all crafting benches and make excellent use of space. Also you have an eye for decorating. Too many videos I see them slapping boxes and vases everywhere, even when it doesn’t make sense why it would be in that spot, and cramming random decor in rooms that don’t fit. But like I mentioned earlier your builds feel actually lived in and designed for living in. Idk something about your style just seems more like how you’d imagine a base to be built and be useful in real life.

Thank you faerie! :) I always try to break my builds down and lay my videos out in some sort of order as I feel it's easier to build along with if someone were to do that. Getting all benches in can be very difficult too! Especially on vanilla where each bench needs about 10 miles of empty space on every side 😂 I'm glad you like my deco too, though I can't deny that I bloody love a good barrel or crate haha!

I really love those primitive/simple builds as much as the elaborate builds you have ^^ this makes rp extra fun! Well done!

Thanks Kevin! I can definitely say I enjoy building them just as much too :) glad you find them useful for rp, I've always leaned more to pve/rp for builds

Happy to have you back! Great build! I’m loving the lower tier humbler base designs. Can’t wait to see some more Valheim builds as well!

Thanks as always tisema! Glad you enjoyed. I'm just waiting on hearth and home for valheim, though I've also been put off a bit by how aggressively anti devmode/creative mode a big portion of the valheim community is :( I see people get HAMMERED in comments because of it, as if holding your mouse button down and watching a mining or chopping animation for 5 hours makes builds more "worthy" :/ shame really, I was so excited to make it a big part of the channel when it came out...

@@jimmerding Yeah! I can’t wait for hearth and home to come out. I’ve been playing on a server with a few friends and we could use a little new content haha, as for negative comments I’m sorry to hear it. I hadn’t realized the community was that against use of debugmode, I’ve been messing around with it a bit in my spare time and it has been a blast.

Hi Jimmer, your tutorial is very nice! I'm new to the game(70h). My friend and I are on official PVE server and yesterday just reached lv60. We are trying to build a better looking but not too complicated home. Which video do you recommend that we refer to?

Welcome aboard! What map are you playing on? exiled lands or Isle of Siptah? I have a wide range of bases for all tribe sizes so hard to say really, I'd suggest just browsing my channel and looking at the thumbnails! Thanks for the nice comment too!

what makes me sad is that the thatch awnings are locked behind a tier 3 skill
