I'm surprised the topic of curriculum didn't come up. How it's being shoved out the door by many public schools and being replaced with the Woke curriculum, that has nothing to do with math, reading, science and so forth. I wonder if Ms. Rice is really aware of what's happening or she really wanted to avoid discussing it?
You want to fix education... school choice is the answer. Less dependence on teachers unions and more money to put kids in the right schools for them. Get rid of everyone who wanted to keep kids locked down ... they failed the kids. They lost the right to teach at that very moment those test scores came out... they had their own best interests at heart, not the kids.
I went to catholic schools in the 50's & 60's. We were like indoctrinated soldiers passing through the years. I had nuns in grade school who nurtured us and watch us like hawks,in H.S. priest nuns, lay teachers, pushing you it wasn't cool to be stupid. We hit the ground running and went to college. You couldn't duplicate our learning environment today.
Maybe we encourage a peace treaty now. America's interest is to help get this war over with asap.

I have always respected Condi Rice, even though we have somewhat different views on Trump and his legacy but this interview is a mess.
1. Prigozhin is Putin's guy, he had never been negative on Putin, and Putin did not mentioned Prigozhin by name in a negative way.
2. Prigozhin and Putin spoke 4 days prior to "coup".
3. As a result Prigozhin and his people are now stationed in Belorussia. The border is only 60-70 miles from Kiyv, the capital of Ukraine.
4. Prigozhin's biggest complain was the absence of armory and supplies. He claimed that Shoigu "undersupplied" him in Bakhmut. Now, it's going to be Belorussian government providing the supplies. Even if we assume that Russian Defense Minister Shoigu was sabotaging Prigozhin, the sabotaging the supply of arms from Russia to Belorussia is above Shoigu's pay grade.
5. The "coup" allowed Putin to resolve Shoigu-Prigozhin conflict without pissing of the Army.
6. All this calamity will allow Putin to cleanse military, and not only military leadership.
7. If all above is not convincing, please remind me the last coup when rebels didn't denounce a country leadership, and never tried to capture the leader first.

Since everything turns into a competition these days, colleges/businesses/sports/etc. will usually pick candidates that have a better resume on paper. Having a model where your 'paper' stats outperform your competition, also increases your odds of getting investors/donations. Sadly money is more important to these institutions. Whereas trying to help average citizens are not. This ethos has not changed for 2000 years and I highly doubt it will ever change until humans learn to control certain 'negative' emotions like jealously.
