(ASMR) Full Build of the 1/48 Eduard Scale Model Aircraft F6F-5 Hellcat With The UA15 Drone Scheme

  • After watching a few pictures of this beautiful aircraft I decided to build one for myself before building another F1 car. This is the Eduard Weekend Edition for the F6F-5 scale model aircraft on a 1/48 scale. This plastic model had very nice detailed markings on the fuselage and the wings, but I decided to add extra rivets to make it look more realistic. Also, I had some issues with the original engine pieces after spending days modifying the engine (Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp). I added some coils, wires and used primer and paint on top. Being such a small piece, a lot of details got lost after priming, so I went and used a strong remover to remove the paint away. I ended up destroying everything after leaving parts for too long on the remover. After that, then I bought a high detailed engine from the same company which looks way better than the original. I hope you like the results of this build.

    hi, other then tamiya cement glue .........is there any model glue can we use on these models

    • @ScaleVehicles
      @ScaleVehicles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just for you to know first how Tamiya glue works. Tamiya glue melts both ends of the plastic and then creates a bond. Other glues just sit on top of the plastic and harden after a few seconds then gluing both ends. With superglue, residues are visible, Tamiya glue is not, because it becomes part of the plastic. I could recommend you other hobby glues, but it will be as hard to get as Tamiya. If you live in US Hobby Lobby has a section for hobbies with Tamiya cement and super glue.

      @@ScaleVehicles I am using UV glue from Bison and Revell. The glue from Bison is available in a metal squeeze tube. Although it needs UV light to harden, after many months, it still hardens, inside the tube. Revell UV glue can be kept much longer. Bison UV glue is stronger than Revell's. But Revell's glue is easier to use because of the cylindrical plastic tube and short needle.
