Well, the lore I came up with is: ever since bf started a fight with Ultra M, he got stuck in a time loop, where he gets to see gf die over, and over again, and can't help, or do anything. And so he becomes more dark and twisted the more loops take place. He starts to see himself in different parts of the song (the glitchy parts with bf, and gf,) but the loops can only end when bf gives up, and M can have his soul to add to his army, but bf won't give up. M tries harder, and harder every loop, with even worse tactics then the last, but bf will never give up. He endures the pain and suffering for gf, but little does ne know that she already belongs to M.
Ye, when I was making this cover I was in a bit of an Impostor v4 ost kick again! (One of many.) This is the 2nd best song in the mod, Identity Crisis is the best! :)
