    at the motor the 94-95 5.0 gt's have 215 hp, at the wheels (output) its another story as with all cars manufactured. I got a deal with brother performance when I bought the edelbrock performer and I got the bbk 70mm tb for about 80 bucks. Someone mentioned that a 94 and 95 gt's have different engines lol, do some research kid.

    I had a problem with my 1994 mustang gt not starting after putting on the SR preformance 75mm throttle body and CAI. I checked all connections and cables. it came down to be the TPS sensor, but I can't find a way to check the voltage to set it, so I have to buy a new TPS sensor and set the voltage on that one.

    1:59 notice the large ledge where the TB mates to the upper intake. when installing such a large TB, you should at least gasket match port the intake. otherwise, you're defeating the purpose.

  • @hotrodray6802
    @hotrodray6802 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wow. You can see that the new throttle body is larger than the manifold and has an 1/8" step in the way. YIKES.

      70 mm throttle body on a 65 mm manifold hole...
      That's .200 inch diameter.

    Ive looked at two sites with the same picture of the throttle body . On American Muscle its a 75mm and on Brothers Performance its a 70mm?.. help me lol

      @benhard2456 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The inside diameter changes. I've heard 94 and 95 mustangs are better off with the 70mm one. If it's true or not i dunno.

      Depends on modifications. Bigger is not better.

      They're available in different sizes.
      The 70 calibrates well with the stock computer/ sensors.

    Why are the horsepower and torque specs so low? The 1994-95 GTs came stock with 215 horses. I understand that with age the power might slightly drop, but not by THAT much. If the car is in decent condition, it should be pushing at least 200 horses.

    • @TheKoppenhaffer
      @TheKoppenhaffer 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Not at the rear wheels... Where a dyno reads power output.

    • @lvitale4071
      @lvitale4071 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      215 at the crank not the RWHP.

    • @timmyboylarsen6961
      @timmyboylarsen6961 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Power to the wheels not the flywheel.

    • @ponypwr
      @ponypwr 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol the auto transmission cars have close to a 20% loss in power from the crankshaft to the wheels...

    • @4-LOW
      @4-LOW 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was wondering the same thing. These numbers are WAYYY lower than the other stock '95 GTs I've seen dyno charts on. Most of these cars are actually making 190-200 HP at the wheels. This one must be a dog, or they're running the car in an odd gear.
      In fact, Hot Rod tested a stock 5.0 engine from '95 and found that at the crank it was actually making over 230 HP and over 300 lb/ft of torque.

    how can it be 1994 and 1995 when those 2 years are 2 very different engines whats a 5.0 internal cam one is a over head cam

    • @TheKoppenhaffer
      @TheKoppenhaffer 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      1994 and 1995 both have the 5.0 H.O..... Source: I own one.. 1996 is when the new weak ass non-P.I. 4.6 came out.

    • @brianberthold3118
      @brianberthold3118 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +TheKoppenhaffer. ahhh that's right thought 94 was last 5.9-- 4.6 is 10 times better then the 5.0 any day of the week

    • @TheKoppenhaffer
      @TheKoppenhaffer 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      '95 was the last 5.0... Also the 4.6 produced less power and torque than the previous 5.0 did. Stock for stock the 4.6 gets slayed unless it's a 99-04 or has a P.I. swap.

    • @brianberthold3118
      @brianberthold3118 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +TheKoppenhaffer u need to check your facts 1994 and 1995 5.0 215hp 1996 4.6 215hp last 5.0 and first 4.6 were same power but 4.6 was better cuz it was ohc

    • @TheKoppenhaffer
      @TheKoppenhaffer 8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      On paper it had the same power. In reality it does not.. They underrated the 94-45 to 215hp when the '93 5.0 made more than that. They didn't want to down play the 4.6, but it was a total turd. Get your facts straight, for one you're so stupid you don't even know what years the cars were produced and I had to inform you. Get lost, you weren't even alive when these cars hit the streets kid., SMFH
