Hi guys welcome to aclaireytale!! Welcome to a BRAND NEW DISNEY CRUISE LINE SERIES!!! I am so incredibly honoured to say that Disney Parks UK hosted this Disney Cruise for us so I have marked this as an ad. We had the best time and I can't wait to share with you as much as I can!
We are on the 7 night British Isles cruise from Southampton for DCL's 25th Anniversary and this is our itinerary:
Day 1 - Southampton, Embarkation Day
Day 2 - Day at Sea
Day 3 - Belfast, Northern Ireland
Day 4- Greenock, Scotland
Day 5 - Liverpool, England
Day 6 - Cork (Cobh)
Day 7 - Portland (Stonehenge)
Today we are in Greenock, Scotland!! We decide not to get off at the port but I do have a detailed vlog about what we did at this port last year, link above! Last year we went into Glasgow and went to Loch Lomond!
In the morning I have filming to do with Disney in the adult only areas (the bars etc) I don't film any of that. Then we head to Cabanas for breakfast. I get changed and we decide to do the Midship Detective Agency around the ship! We went for the muppets storyline! We had to help the muppets find their stolen props by following a load of clues! I show a few of the clues but I don't show you who did it so it is spoiler free do not worry! As we are going around the ship looking for clues, I show you some bits of the ship I'd not seen yet such as Deck 5 - the kids clubs, bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, a ship's wheel, Pepe's door!
After this fun scavenger hunt around the ship, we go to Royal Palace for lunch. It was absolutely lovely. It was a nice change to Cabanas :)
Then while it's quiet we head up to top deck to swim in the pools, hot tubs and go on the Aqua Duck! So much fun. The hot tub looks over the edge of the ship into the sea!
We then have the most magnificent send off with Scottish bagpipes! We watch from our balcony and it's so emotional when they place Scotland the brave! Loved it.
It was then time for Mickey's Color Spin Dance Party! Or Mickey's Colour Spin if you are from the UK! It was inside the atrium due to the rain. I show some clips of the songs and dances with all the characters!
We then had dinner at Animator's Palate! And tonight we had Turtle Talk with Crush! it was so much fun!! Our server makes a napkin turtle as well.
We come into our room to the turn down service and then the next morning in Liverpool I finish the vlog!!

Nice to explore the ship. Great interactive game to play. Not quite the weather to hit the pool deck with, so the hot tub was a welcome relief. Nice to hear bagpipes playing as you left and the ships horn trying to complete. 😂 Pork chop on the dinner menu fooled by the cookies & cream sundae for me. Great napkin animal from your server.

We were on deck 7 aft, right at the back and even though it was pouring with rain we were waving our phone lights to everyone on the quayside. It was so magical. Sorry we didn't see you on the whole cruise but did manage to meet Adam and Gary. We had such a great time.

It was ME! I had my phone torch on waving. Me, a friend and my mum! Not in the square. Slightly further away. There were people on the ship doing the same! So we waved back! lol. Also it’s not impossible we saw you on the Aquaduck. We are at the restaurant Scott’s looking over to the ship and saw the odd person on the Aquaduck! lol. (When it was a little drizzly ) xx

What a great day of exploring the Dream. I have never seen the kids hot tub empty they are always sooooo full. Glad you had it and the adult area all to yourselves. We love to eat lunch in the restaurant. It is so much for a relaxing not chaotic lunch. I think I have told you Mid-ship detective agency holds such memories for us. We did it every time we are on the Dream or Fantasy. It is such a great way to learn where everything is on the ship.
Yeah it was definitely because the weather was pretty cold haha but lovely and warm once in!!! Yeah I really enjoyed lunch in the restaurant, our first time and we'll definitely do it again. Makes sense when you are on late dining to do that! Aw love that you have special memories doing the detective agency. Did you have a favourite storyline?
