1994ഇൽ ഇവിടെ honeymoonനു വന്ന് 1ദിവസം തമാസിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അന്ന് വല്ലപ്പോഴും വല്ല വിദേശികളും വന്നാൽ ആയി എന്ന അവസ്‌ഥ ആയിരുന്നു. Forest guard കൊണ്ടു വിട്ടിട്ടു പോകും. പിന്നെ next day കൊണ്ട് പോകാൻ വരും.

We went to this amazing place in 1997, no guards with guns, no toilet, just the basic tower, we stayed in that tower by ourselves and watched the wildlife, it was amazing, a bit dangerous but I wouldn't have missed it for the world, would love to go back again its been done up so nicely

@@DotGreen Thank you so much for confirming! Btw I am from Tamil Nadu & I am planning a week long trip to Kerala with my friend. We are planning to stay one night in all these places - Chinnar, Ramakkalmedu, Vagamon, Thekkady, Peermedu & Gavi.
Do you think it's worth to spend 4000 per head in this forest resort in Thekkady? Bcoz I am wondering whether we can see wild animals since it's raining now. Also do they allow alcohol to carry with us?

@@arwin1947 it is worth, nice ambience, officially alcohol not allowed but they are not checking your bags.. Animal sightings are pure luck.. Even if it is raining you may get.. (Again based on luck)

We stayed here in 1998, there was only the basic tower with no toilet, beds, veranda or guides, but it was amazing.

Simple trekking and not that risky but still if we are inside forest cannot predict anything 😊👍🏻
