Nothing else on screen has matched Justice League God's and Monsters for me. The OG DCAU still hard trumps any cinematic universe and Young Justice is the most comic accurate yet unique adaption I've seen with world building to rival Dante's inferno.

On current DC comics… Sandra is unconfirmed alive or dead. Dee has been dead since Deathstroke and the Society of Supervillains impaled her and then strung her body up on the Washington Monument. Stormy retired but just recently returned to be Phantom Lady again. Jennifer Knight is unaccounted for since her last appearance. Sophia is still active as Phantom Lady of her Earth, the reality where the Nazis won. Sandra was very 1940s ferme fatale, wholesome while playful. Seductive to a point but not overly so. Also brilliant scientist. Dee was very light hearted and optimistic while being able to rely on her espionage training and was more serious and capable then she let on. Very much used her physical features and sex appeal. Could be doing light hearted antics in fun comics and in another giving Jack Bauer interrogations. Routinely got in over her head and ultimately killed from it. Stormy struggled with alcoholism and her private life. Very cynical and snarky. VERY open about her sexuality and flaunted it. Also a genius scientist and engineer. Think Tony Stark type person. Also an actress and socialite who is publicly known to be Phantom Lady. Jennifer Knight… hard to say as multiple version used that name and personalities varied but usually like Sandra but less sensual and more modern. Sophia is religious and betrayed family to fight the Nazis. Does not employ skimpy costumes or sex appeal. Generic tactical mindset and heroic values. My favorite version was Dee Tyler. Ironically of all the Freedom Fighters who died with her in Infinite Crisis… she is only one DC never brought back.

I still don’t know why the ray was such a focus, was it just a crappy tie in to the CW anyway? Hell we on,y see the villains from that earth and not the rest of the freedom fighters. I know it’s late, but DC really needs to do a better rework. Rather focusing on just the ray, have it more with the team. The Ray, Black Condor, Doll Man, The Human Bomb and most importantly Uncle Sam (the entire reason why even this team started to begin with.).
I watched this because of this video to find out most of it was a deadly dull coming out story and the Naziworld was only at the beginning and end. Kind of bait and switch. The actual superhero stuff was pretty good though and Phantom Lady is awesome.
Vixen and The Ray were such good shows, CW should invest more in animations like this
