I live in Rockford il I actually go here almost everyday in the summer and I remember that ride that someone broke their back on and they filed lawsuits I went on it too it was pretty cool it had like a conveyor belt on it that pulled you up
I get the sense that Hurricane Harbor Rockford is way better staffed and operated than its counterpart next to Six Flags Great America. The trapdoor slides at Hurricane Harbor Chicago have been closed all season, and a number of the other slides are almost always closed. Thankfully the Six Flags pass allows you access to both!
@@GoproGabe You might have lucked out big time my man. I went to Hurricane Harbor Rockford this past Sunday and Wipeout was closed. I talked to a guy who was overseeing the Riptide slides (high speed ones) and he said that Wipeout has been closed for two years now definitely doesn't change the fact though that HH Rockford is still a great waterpark and i'm definitely glad its included in the higher-tier Six Flags season pass

You should check out Atcher Island Water Park in Schaumburg Illinois which has a kids area and two adult slides which is a Whitewater West Space Bowl

I heard that’s the case and is why I would never go there. They don’t let you film regardless too.

They really gotta get on top of that. Having your star ride always closed is unacceptable especially since it’s a reliable ride.
