@@DontMe__ well you can do extreme sports and control your body to do amazing and dangerous things. but can you explore your inner depths? can you forgive those who hurt you to let go of anger? what do you do with anxiety or depression? how you disprogram your mind to start thinking/living like you really want? there is no books for that, there is no specific training or steps to follow. because every human has his own way of dealing with that. and that stuff is invisible

Aurora is obviously magical but I am always so impressed by her band, they really are fantastic musicians. The KEXP sound crew also never disappoint, everything on the channel sounds amazing.

Work with someone inspiring is a great thing, they are talented, but sound special because they can connect with her voice, and feel her soul behind the notes...

Silja is amazing. Guitar, keyboards, percussion and has an amazing voice as well. Her harmonies with AURORA are sublime. I haven't heard many other acts that sound as good as AURORA and her band singing live. Their live performances are truly special.

I admire how she acknowledges the inconsistency of the self and how one's inner belief can vary from day, but to accept the feeling in the moment. She said, "for today, I truly believe that's how it is."
Her voice is as if mother earth herself could take shape of the wind and caress each and every one of us and make us feel meaning in this fucked up world we are living in, in 2020

A pure musical energy from beautiful but until now, hidden musical worlds. Aurora stripped away all of my 76 years and made me feel so young again, yet brought me beyond the fragile and temporal into the eternal light of truth! Auroral is a talent for the ages!
I'm mesmerized by her spirit, we truly do need to re-connect with one another and with nature.
There are no words adequate enough to say how much this beautiful human being inspires, enchants, bewitches, charms, and mesmerizes. The performances by Aurora and every member of her band are fantastic, and the interview afterwards is a delight to the ears, eyes and senses. I can't wait to see her live in November.

I started listening to the album a week ago, can't stop. I'm literally in tears every time I put it on.
I loved that wonderful version of "It happened quiet", with their two voices together. It was amazingly beautiful!! Silja has a beautiful voice and their voices works so perfectly in harmony in that song. Truly beautiful!
Aurora is one of the few speaking persons making any sense :)
Ps: PROPS to all sound engineers here both staff & band (those drums how theyre defined & set into the synth mix....that's magic. And didn't tho un-noticed along with so many excellent bits!!)

couldn’t agree more. the KEXP engineers are top notch. i have yet to hear a poorly mixed performance in the new space. plus Aurora is magic. i’m convinced she’s actually fairy folk.

It's amazing how she touched my heart the first time i listened to her music. I'm a Filipino and i don't know why i love her so much when there's so much difference from our culture.
My step-mother-in-law is filipino - she fit quite well in the norwegian culture .

She, her band - They had to get together, it was always the universes plan. I have heard of her just a couple months ago, and I am deeply touched by her music. Also, because it is so authentic and pure.

i love how she talks about the concept of her second album here. the "infections of a different kind" are the different types of pain she learned about while on tour, hearing about the fans stories etc. she absorbed that pain and turned it into music, just like she used to do with her own pain (in _all my demons greeting me as a friend_ ). that's beautiful. and a nice detail about that is the cover of the album, the position of her hands really convey that message to me, especially when you look at the cover of her _third_ album, "a different kind of human": she has learned how to empathise with the world around her, and now she's a new person and has more to offer. beautiful beautiful
