I like how you didn't overdo the dust/particle FX - your ambiences are improving and i'm really looking forward to more future ones.

Just curious if it's possible if you could make a video similar to this one but with the imperial shuttle.kind of like a hanger with just the shuttle

Nothing specific, but looks Corellian of sorts!

Makes me want an updated X-Wing/TIE Fighter game, but we'd be forced to incorporate Disney canon. :(

@@MoatHenry356 I didn't find "Solo" to be bad.

I fear what they would do to the Rogue Squadron games. RS and Rogue Leader had no reason to go as hard as they did. Good times.

@@morningrose428 My fear is something like X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter was to X-Wing Alliance. That said, XvT (we were really excited about it) was early in the era of broadband and most connections weren't fast enough to support the game at its intended speed.
My concern about Star Wars games is what kind of game will they make. I'm thinking back to the early popular games like Rebel Assault that were optimized for CD-ROM and blended a mix of rail shooting and other action.
Considering Star Wars Outlaws has met with mixed reception (and in some ways I would consider its gameplay similar to Rebel Assault being over the shoulder) I don't know how successfully we could adapt these old games to new game designs.
Even the fairly recent (by gaming standards) Knights of the Old Republic might not do well. It's pretty similar to Mass Effect but a reskin. Lots of meaningless loot. Combat looks impressive on screen but is really RNG based. They were great games for the time though and Sith Lords took the lore in an interesting if unsuccessful new direction for the Lucas Arts era.
These days, such games might be considered superficial experiences, but to be honest most games are superficial gameplay loops based on graphics. The mechanics are the same, just different graphical skins and franchises. How many times can Call of Duty be remade slightly?
Meanwhile, I'm waiting on a game with the depth of Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall to be made for the modern era, even if it looks a little shallow and odd because of procedural generation. I miss scale and scope and depth at the expense of graphics.
What else do I mean by depth? Stuff like Paradox, Civilization, and Total War games that you can play over and over no matter how old they are.
Right now Project Zomboid with all of its mods does this for me. At its core, the game is pretty much just Diablo, the Sims, and Minecraft all mixed together. Could use a more compelling story, though.
