Man these videos bring back memories. We left Guyana in 1982 and I only went back once in 1993. But I remember going to school at St Agnes and living in Republic Park and having to come in by car to Stabroek and then going to school.
This town is like Fiji... tropical, multi-racial, the buildings, the market, the people except your roads are wider, your market is more spacious but the best thing about Fiji they dont have guns! nice video thanks for sharing.
Good afternoon I am from Guyana, could you take a walk, around the Magistrate's Court, which is opposite the St Andrew's Scot School, I used to attend that school. The school and the church are in the yard. Thanking you in advance. By the way I enjoy your tour, because I grow up in the Market.
Imagine while we are under quarantine and curfew, people walking the streets of GT mask free and without care. Thank you for refreshing our memories of home
@@nom5205 I wasn't discriminating or being sarcastic in any way, I was simply pointing out the difference in attitudes towards the present situation , I am proud to be Guyanese no matter where I go
It's great that you were calling out some landmarks but the camera was often just showing the parked vehicles you were passing. So many vehicles in such a little space. This variety of fresh produce is unmatched anywhere that I've seen. Thanks for the walkaround.
I love guyana, much prosperity to my country 🇬🇾🇬🇾❤ . Very good video, I can feel the energy, hearing the beautiful dialect, and best part only black and brown people living there life.
Whats going on with the travel restrictions and updates to the mandates etc., about travel there for U.S. citizens? I am a new.subscriber and definitely will be taking some of the recipes.
@ bharat singh it said in the article that he uses a skin bleaching and lightening lotion for hyperpigmentation which is irregular skin patches amedical condition but he doesnt look black anymore he looks mixed race this is it from the article matsuiskinlightening.com/products/1-best-seller-extra-strength-orange-peeling-lotion-100-ml it says this is the same lotion that steve as well as hollywood celebrities use but i think they just deny they are lightening their skin and say some excuse medical condition like hyperpigmentation. Like i said he doesnt even look like a black man anymore because of this lotion,he looks like mixed race.
We outside of Guyana are tempted to talk bad about the infrastracture; but it all comes down to paying and collecting taxes. United States is well built in roads etc, that is because the people pay tax on everything and double, triple tax in many cases. God Bless Guyana!!!
Nice video guys 👍 but I got really angry 😬 when I saw that mini bus driver grab that child hand I can see that she was scared 😬 they didn't give the child a chance to choose which bus 🚌 she wants to go in 😬 I hated when them bus driver grab people like that 😬 the government should do something about that 😬 bring back them big buses 🚌🚌 I felt sorry for that child 😔😔✋ Those bus driver are bullies ✋
First of all I guess that everyone needs to be polite needs to respect one another. I noticed that this is the most noisy city that I've already seen! Everywhere we go end up being nasty on the bus, car, walking on the street, at the market. Everybody seems to be very kind, but a strict educational sistem could change it, in case the next generation
I don’t go to the city a lot and I’m always getting nice thoughts that the city is all nice and shit but when you do go, It’s disappointing! Garbage all over the place and too many vendors on the roads causing pedestrians to walk on the road rather on the sidewalk... need a better drainage system as the only city in the country. Need better roads. Overall the city is disgusting and dirty IMO... only at private area and establishments you’ll find a fairly clean environment
ISN'T IT A GOOD IDEA FOR THE PEOPLE OF AFRICAN DESCENT IN THE DIASPORA TO ADOPT AFRICAN NAMES, ESPECIALLY SURNAMES, WHILE STILL STAYING INA BABYLON AND NOT THINK OF COMING TO AFRICA SO AS TO EXPAND THE AFRICAN CONTINENT FAR AND BEYOND?
Thanks so much for give me the chance of remember, really thanks......I love Guyana.......from Colombia!!!!
@@kensonrollins7558 muy buen, que pasa?
Bueno yo soy brasileño pero hablo bien el español, te lo puedo ayudar, que necesitas?
love the bountiful supply of fruits and vegetables!
Hopefully Guyana will develop great infrastructure like bridges and highways that connect all the cities and towns far from the center of Georgetown.
Bring back memories those days me and my mom go every Saturday morning to town nice 15 mins drive from Grove EBD❤️
That's awesome, thanks for watching❤
I love my Guyana not living there now but ’i will ’always love my country bless Guyana
When life was once normal and no one ever thought 'social distancing' would be a part of people's lives. A hustle and bustle city life. Nice video 👍🏻
Great point!
This bringing tears to my eyes I miss Guyana soooo much. WHEN I VISIT, THIS MARKET IS MY FAVOURITE HAUNT.
Thanks for watching.
I'm orifinally from Trinidad and lived in the US for over 30 yyears and I have to say that trinidad is an eyesore now and Guyana looks so much better.

Hello sir, Great videos
Why there are no new cars on the road in Guyana????????
There are some , but most are older models.
That footage was taken a while back?
Yes it was.

Bom vídeo.
Continue mostrando a Guiana para nós brasileiros!
Fique na paz!

It is a delight to see Right Hand drive vehicles and traffic driving on the Left.
Very interesting. Seeing lots of blacks and Indians

Guyana has lots of jungles with less traffic and vendor. Don't need road only a boat.
Suriname look like better not have crimes..
Georgetown Is not a city in guyana,
It's the capital city of guyana.

Thank god Corona Virus didn't spread here.
It absolutely did spread. This may be older footage from before the lockdown. It's also not finished spreading. Be safe, all.
