You don’t give the proper definition of adultery. Adultery is a man taking another man’s woman. An un married woman can not commit adultery.
If you take Jesus words in context with the rest of scripture it does not mean if you desire an un married woman it’s not adultery.
Also. Sunday is not the sabbath. It’s a false doctrine. The Bible does not say it anywhere.
You either know this and deceive yourself and others or. You don’t know what you are talking about because you have blinders.
When you learn what adultery is you take it a lot more seriously. Adultery is serious and God took it serious. Everyone is not an adulterer. If everything is adultery. What’s the use of trying.
Even with that in mind. No one is without sin. But everything is not sin.

I told my husband about " "game of throne when it came out" because I believe that he would love it because of the period and everything else Pastor Sean said. I dont like bloody scenes so I didn't watch it, after the 1st episode my husband said not for me, too much sex.
I was so surprised I told him " I thought that you would like it?" He said " you thought wrong" indeed " protect your eyes " 🙏🏽

If Jesus is your saviour, you’ve sincerely repented, you do your absolute best to follow God’s commandments (and earnestly repent when you fall short) and not sin, as well as deeply develop a sincere personal relationship with Jesus/God (including knowing scripture in understanding who God is and what He did to absolve your sins, but also understanding Him through personal experiences with God)?

The message from Sean is your typical “no repentance” sermon which can be heard numerous times
on any given Sunday morning in many wishy wash churches.
And since we all have "lusted" after another, who's to say what about any bodies else’s adultery.
(if I had a quarter for everytime I heard that).
Notice the typical modern day sermon references to AI, movies, tv shows, percentages, studies, as though God’s Word needs any help for what is clear and without need for debate when it comes to repentance from adultery.
And buy the way, you will not hear the word “repentance” in most modern-day watered-down churches when confronting sin such as adultery or lustful intent.
Sean will continue to say “God’s commands are to set us free, they are for our good, stay away from that,” “you will only hurt yourself, God, others, and more,” “confessing your sins will set you free of living a double life”, “I can promise you God will forgive you”.
No Sean even though your words of comfort will help me feel better about myself, they are not the whole truth.
So what did you NOT tell us?
    Let me help you out.
Recognizing the beauty of woman is not lust,
even the bible recognizes the handsomeness of man and the beauty of a woman,
    but it is not lust,
the original greek in the N.T as far as lust goes means to:
set one’s heart upon another, to long for, to covet, to desire.
noticing a woman's beauty is not lust,
but a desire to have her/him is.
The Word teaches us in James
Jas 1:13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. Jas 1:14 But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.
Jas 1:15 Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. Jas 1:16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers.
The word "conceived" means to be seized, to aid, to arrest.
So basically, when you desire someone that belongs to another and longs to have them, it becomes sin.
Many in the church have married their adulterous lover, and thought to themselves,
since we're married now, God recognizes the new marriage made in "His eyes" over the previous marriage made in His eyes
    (so bad).
Since most of the church refuses to call out adultery by remarriage from the pulpit
it becomes a topic of taboo, thus not to be addressed unless behind closed doors.
This is also sin and gives way to the fear of man instead of the truth of the Word.
Sin when realized/conceived brings forth death, that would be spiritual death Sean (james 1:15).
Now let’s read the rest of the passage that you so eloquently left out.
Mat 5:29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.
Mat 5:30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.
Even though Jesus uses hyperbole as for the actual hand and foot, the consequence of one not “cutting off” adultery (any form) is eternal damnation.
Paul even tells us how to approach a marriage "on the rocks," but did we hear that from you?
So, Sean what is the final outcome of those who are participating in lust and adultery?
And let me clarify that those who have married into adultery leaving their spouse for another marriage, is just as sinful, and yes, that marriage needs to be repented of as well, in other words dissolved.

Look at the price David and Solomon paid for being with all of those women. His family was chaotic when they grew up into adults, and 2 of his children launched a coup. Solomon ended up ending being pulled into a life of demonism trying to keep all of his wives happy.

Matthew 5:31,32 as well as Matthew 19:8,9 also speaks of remarriage after divorce as adultery (unless one spouse cheated on the other), so in theory my brother should not be allowed to marry his new wife or he will be living in sin? I was hoping this would have been addressed; do you have any view on this scripture?

For me, the existence of God was not a factor in my decision to be honorable. I am now a believer, after seeing the new science that points to God. I still have issues with God and the Holocaust. I have tried to live an honorable life, long before I believed in God.
Obviously, I am not sorry I did. I was also a surgeon and avoided any form of abortion, even though I could have allowed it in my surgery center. I am not sorry I avoided that too.

Believe me, when you say “I” didn’t cheat on my wife, “I” didn’t do this or that, as if you were good
That’s the same pride that got satan kicked out of heaven, I will exalt, I will ascend, he had the I-tis disease, thinking he could “BE” without God, who created him!! We are nothing without God no matter what “good” deeds we think we’re doing
      👉 Isaiah 14:12-15
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
      👉 Isaiah 64:6
6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
God had a plan for your life even before you became a Christian and any good inside of you was GRACE
OUR “works” or deeds are nothing without Christ
      👉 Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

    Which commandment says Remember?

  • @TempleofChristMinistries
    @TempleofChristMinistries ปีที่แล้ว +1

If you look upon a woman to lust after her you have committed adultery with her in your heart, therefore, if a husband looks upon his wife to lust after her, he has committed adultery with her in his heart, marital unfaithfulness is one form of adultery, when Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree they committed adultery, adultery is a spiritual thing not a flesh thing, if I say I have faith in God, and do what is wrong, I have committed adultery separation from God, from adultery comes murder. Adultery is committed when trust is betrayed.
When Adam looked upon Eve after they ate the fruit he committed adultery with her in his heart, that is why they covered themselves, there is only one reason why a man covers himself when he lusts after woman, for if he did not lust after woman he would remain innocent in his heart and in this, he would have no reason to cover himself.
The image of naked woman is clean and holy the only filth that falls Upon A Woman rises in the heart of a man.
The definition of marriage is when two become one, it is the reason why all things exist without it nothing exists.

According to Ephesians, marriage is fundamentally about commitment-keeping our covenant with our spouse as a reflection of God’s own covenant with us through Jesus. The Bible doesn’t teach that marriage requires procreation or gender hierarchy. Instead, it teaches that the essence of marriage is covenantal love and faithfulness, and Christian same-sex couples live out that vision of marriage every single day all over the world😉 youré welcome 😘

  • @royhiggins7270
    @royhiggins7270 ปีที่แล้ว

"You're an adult now, not a baby. If you choose sin, that's not innocent. Babies don't go to hell, adults that choose sin do. And there's a lot more sins in the world than just murdering babies. You advocating for abortion to encourage babies to be murdered, is morally the same as murdering babies though. So yes, you have murdered innocent babies who won't go to hell, but you will If you don't repent." That is a reply I get often when I talk about the hypocrisy of Christian support of forced birth! If Christiany is true then abortion is the most moral thing that potential mothers could ever do! For the vast majority of human beings...almost 6 billion people according to Christianity...eternally burning and suffering in hell will be their fate! In fact if hell is real...the majority of human beings should curse their mothers who were selfish enough to risk extreme eternal suffering for them! Abortion is the most humane thing a mother could ever do...the risk of eternal torture far outweighs any life even eternal life. So do Christians have a denial problem or a logic problem? From the comment above it seems that Chritians don't realize or don't want to recognize that all babies grow up to be adults if they live who will sin or choose not to believe in christ! If you really believe in hell why don't you advocate for abortion? Do you really hate adult people so much that you want them to suffer eternally? Are you really that selfish? How do you reconcile this monsterous dichotomy of Christ? Why do you believe in a God that is so powerless, ineffectual, inadequate, weak, useless that they can't keep the majority of people born from burning in hell for eternity?

Satan has a job assigned by the Heavenly Father to do. Remember Adam failed in the Garden. Jesus, the last Adam, was led into temptation too, he knew he was going to have to be humiliated, hung on a cross, and die, while knowing he could change his mind and command the angels of Heaven to come to his rescue. He trusted his father in Heaven and was silent as a lamb. We are called to do the same. If God wants to design something then destroy it, then who are we to judge. Satan doesn’t like this arrangement but there’s nothing he can do about it, but cause as much destruction as he possibly can. Be aware and practice obedience to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Hey again Tatiana! I commented at you on one of David Wood's streams. Have you seen Mike Winger's video on divorce/remarriage?
What do you say about the exception clause in Matthew 5:32 and Mattnew 19:9? Jesus clearly gives at least one exception to the divorce/remarriage issue, but its simply a matter of specifically what that exception is.
In regards to Romans 7, Paul is giving an analogy about being dead to the Law, not giving a teaching on Divorce/remarriage.
I appreciate your zeal for keeping marriages together. I need more of that zeal. But for one, I am divorced so I'm biased, but also in regards to other people, I want to be careful not to put burdens on people that God isn't puting on them. So if Matthew 5:32 and 19:9 and 1 Corinthians 7:15 truly do give Christians grounds for divorce/remarriage, it wouldn't be good to teach people otherwise. But on the other hand, if they don't, it wouldn't be good to lead people into sin either. This is a super tough one, and I wish it didn't apply to me so I wouldn't have this bias lingering over me lol

There would be little stds because people would use protection and get tested with no stigma.
There would be no need for me-too because everyone would be enthusiastically consenting.
There would be little to no abortion since everyone would only get pregnant as they wished with contraception and sex ed.
Pornography would not be exploitative and be regulated to consenting adults.
This view does almost the exact same thing while excluding the negative baggage that comes with your worldview.
