Hi Gwenny! I was just wondering about something on the large Lottie... I purchased a black one in brand new condition from a person who lives in England and it came in the Box it was wrapped and everything was complete but the gold etching on the back that says Aspinal of London on the magnet portion looked like it wasn't stamped strongly on the stenciling and the letter O from London and part of the N in England look like they're missing because they're right on the Stitch and it appears they've come off. I thought about sending it in to be fixed but I'm in the US and to send it all the way to England for repair would be a big deal since i don't have proof of purchase. I was just wondering how your navy blue one looks. Was the etching not that strong when you first purchased it and how does it look now?
Hello love! Congrats on your large Lottie! My stenciling isn't crystal-clear but I haven't used it enough for it to rub off so I don't know if that would eventually happen. I suspect it's a little patchy because of the bobbly nature of the leather, is yours the quilted Kaviar too? 💕
@@StyledByGwenny thank you so much for answering me! Yes it is the Kaviar and mine is in black with the red interior. I noticed that it's bubbly and the stitching is right there, so the stenciling doesn't get to really set in very deeply.

Thank you! I'm afraid I've no idea about iPads, but the Aspinal website will have dimensions. I would say the large is quite a bit heavier than the regular, but the quilted leather may also be slightly heavier than the pebbled leather. Let me know if you go for it! 💕

I would say the chain itself isn't too heavy, it's not flimsy or anything, but it's pretty lightweight for the chunky size, but the bag itself is pretty heavy, there's a lot of leather there. Maybe it would be worth looking at the regular sized Lottie if you don't have to carry so much? 💕

I've checked mine, and there isn't any 'made in' tab like you'd find in Gucci or other luxury brands, it just has Aspinal of London, England hot stamped in gold on the rear pocket and the inside of the flap. I hope that helps! 💕

Hi Gwenny..............sorry MIA.......................Cocoa my 2 months short of 17 years long haired conker brown in sunshine cat had a stroke on saturday the 19th of February and was paralyzed in her back legs, left one being the worst.........................she recovered and saw the vet on tuesday the 22nd of February and had thought she would be put to sleep............. but Tom the wonderful vet who i've seen since 1996 gave her an anabolic steroid injection to stimulate her appetite for 3 weeks, (she was legging it round the examination room and he said she was a fighter and too lively to put to sleep.)........................ she was such a fighter , but had another stroke on Tuesday 1st of March and paralyzed her right side including mouth at 8pm and i watched your wonderful video of your beautiful Izzy Cat with Cocoa on my lap and tears streaming down my face........................................she was put to sleep in my arms on Wednesday the 2nd of March at 9.02am fighting til the last.... drank water from the dogs kitchen terracotta bowl and staggered across the kitchen to wee in the litter tray and i then hugged her and put her in the cat carrier and put her in front of the 2 cats Tia and Biskit and Mrs Needypants AKA Tigzee Sheba Tigerlily the staffie and went to the vets. They were so lovely and made Cocoa comfortable after putting a canula in and a syringe of water to flush the vein, then put her on my lap and i kissed her under her chin and spoke special words to her and she passed away over the rainbow bridge very quickly.............. My son was in west wales and took a photo of a huge rainbow he saw at 9.15am and posted it on our famalamadingdong family chat on whatsapp, which reaches all of us family at once, and simply put "FOR COCOA". it's my first full day without her today and i am broken.................some presence is missing from my home.........such a BIG GAP...i'm devastated........... such a video you made about Izzy Cat the last night Cocoa was on this earth, you must be psychic.......... Cocoa was exactly 2 months short of being 17 years old on the 1st of May 2022......................I can't believe it...........she went for a walk down our private road with tigzee only 3 weeks ago and now she's gone.................... God Bless Daisy and Lily and give them an extra hug from me and Cocoa xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Love from a devestated Ellie and now 3 furbabies :( ps I love Aspinal bags and things xxxxxxxx

Has anyone who owns this bag noticed that the hardwear is getting damaged on either side of the word "Aspinal" on the lock? I have only used mine twice since I got it for Christmas. Next to "Aspinal" on both sides there are black marks and scratches from the screws behind the moving part of the lock. Wondering if I should contact Aspinal? I just assumed it was a design flaw but perhaps it is just my bag. I love the bag but am sad that it is getting damaged so quickly given the price.

But it's hard work wearing it for long periods because it strains my arm to keep it secure from prying thieving hands! I do use it, I promise you. Xx and the Westwood one I bought from you gets taken on cruises as well! Xx

When I last checked, all three Lottie sizes were available in the sale in burgundy! 😲 I've never seen a tweed anything from Aspinal, that's not to say haven't or won't do something in that material, never say never, right? 😉❣️

Hi Gwenny..............sorry MIA.......................Cocoa my 2 months short of 17 years long haired conker brown in sunshine cat had a stroke on saturday the 19th of February and was paralyzed in her back legs, left one being the worst.........................she recovered and saw the vet on tuesday the 22nd of February and had thought she would be put to sleep............. but Tom the wonderful vet who i've seen since 1996 gave her an anabolic steroid injection to stimulate her appetite for 3 weeks, (she was legging it round the examination room and he said she was a fighter and too lively to put to sleep.)........................ she was such a fighter , but had another stroke on Tuesday 1st of March and paralyzed her right side including mouth at 8pm and i watched your wonderful video of your beautiful Izzy Cat with Cocoa on my lap and tears streaming down my face........................................she was put to sleep in my arms on Wednesday the 2nd of March at 9.02am fighting til the last.... drank water from the dogs kitchen terracotta bowl and staggered across the kitchen to wee in the litter tray and i then hugged her and put her in the cat carrier and put her in front of the 2 cats Tia and Biskit and Mrs Needypants AKA Tigzee Sheba Tigerlily the staffie and went to the vets. They were so lovely and made Cocoa comfortable after putting a canula in and a syringe of water to flush the vein, then put her on my lap and i kissed her under her chin and spoke special words to her and she passed away over the rainbow bridge very quickly..............
My son was in west wales and took a photo of a huge rainbow he saw at 9.15am and posted it on our famalamadingdong family chat on whatsapp, which reaches all of us family at once, and simply put "FOR COCOA". it's my first full day without her today and i am broken.................some presence is missing from my home.........such a BIG GAP...i'm devastated........... such a video you made about Izzy Cat the last night Cocoa was on this earth, you must be psychic.......... Cocoa was exactly 2 months short of being 17 years old on the 1st of May 2022......................I can't believe it...........she went for a walk down our private road with tigzee only 3 weeks ago and now she's gone.................... God Bless Daisy and Lily and give them an extra hug from me and Cocoa xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Love from a devestated Ellie and now 3 furbabies :( ps I love Aspinal bags and things xxxxxxxx

Has anyone who owns this bag noticed that the hardwear is getting damaged on either side of the word "Aspinal" on the lock? I have only used mine twice since I got it for Christmas. Next to "Aspinal" on both sides there are black marks and scratches from the screws behind the moving part of the lock. Wondering if I should contact Aspinal? I just assumed it was a design flaw but perhaps it is just my bag. I love the bag but am sad that it is getting damaged so quickly given the price.
I read your comment while getting ready for work this morning, and immediately went to check mine, no sign of wear at all, so I would definitely get in touch with them if I were you 💕
@@StyledByGwenny thanks for checking! Glad to know it is likely a problem. It is a fabulous bag - and I would get a smaller size (I have the large) but the hardwear issue put me off. Hopefully, the resolution will encourage me to add another to my collection. :)
