“BANCO DEI VALORI MORALI” is the debut EP album of Post-punk/New Wave project 30 DENARI from Venezia - Italy . Concepted during the pandemic months of 2020/2021 , and captures the alienanting mood of this strange and unprecedented time of modern history.
In the harsh soundscape of reverb-drenched guitars, driving bass, fuious rhythmic drum machine beats, sharp electro-industrial Keyboards inserts and vibrating hieratic vocals you can find odd musical textures reminiscent of Bauhaus and Siouxsie and the Banshees , the as well as their modern counterparts like NIN and Editors.
A passionate celebration of the best Italian post-punk scene with bands like Diaframma and Disciplinatha.
The lyrics focus on the anxieties generated by a heavy conformed world oppressed by social media where homologation is a must and flaunting possessions with arrogance is a demonstration of success ; “the new moral values “ are opposed to the concept of simple life promoted in the songs where the goal is to find harmony in nature and take it to the social existence.
