Hi, how does the cracker works ? I mean how does it breaks the nuts compared to the mechanical and air compressed crackers ?

Diego, it cracks on the side of the nut as apposed to cracking end to end. It has been giving excellent results. Requirements are that the nut is sized according to industry standards and the kernel has been "tempered" with water to give 7% to 9% moisture before cracking.

@@statenoliver1233 will it work with any variety of nuts ? Have you tested the with hard shell / native pecans ?. Very interested, is there a possibility to see the machine working in person ?

@@diegoalfredoba We have 4 installed at a processing facility that processes mainly native varieties. They are very happy with the performance on the natives. We can get you into a processing facility near us to see the machine operate. I recommend that actually, so you can determine if it is a good fit for you.
