One, that it was relaxing. A structured build would seem more stressful. Glad that wasn't the case. Two, the tail to body topple is has a great flow. Three, the head topple coming from the front worked nicely. Hope everyone enjoyed this build as much as this video. Fantastic work to everybody involved 👏 👍 😊
Thanks so much featuring this project again! I must say this was by far the most challenging and very difficult project to design, even for me with years of experience. The part from 6:06 hearing it I surprise even myself of thinking: 'oh yeah I did think of that; oh wait I did even that detail too?' Every year, one or two designs are just that detailed and sometimes even have some references or easter eggs in them and like you said the details and colors from the dragon were pre-planned but 2024 being the year of the dragon too is just a golden coincidence are the cherry of cherries on the top of the cake. This is partly why I love being both a domino builder but a designer as well, its true Domino Art in which I can implement my talent for this and sometimes I simply like to make it the best possible design I could make. It really was a pain to calculate the amount of dominoes but surprisingly it wasnt even 500 dominoes off from the total in the end. Next year thankfully no designs as difficult as these ones 😂 Glad you and many others enjoyed it as well as I did.
WOW this video was so cool! Just getting to see the INSANE amount of planning and research and coordination that went into this field was so sick! I will ALWAYS be a sucker for fields that aren't just basic square fields, but seeing a project of this magnetude getting put together this way was SO cool to see! Fantastic video!
what is something that you've learned or thought was interesting from this build? 😊
Probably the planning. If the spreadsheets and protocol fields for the dragon were any indication, the admin for these events must be insane

This was one of my favorite projects from last year's wdc! So glad to see the thought process behind :)
glad you liked it!! 😊

Beautiful colors
incredible! love the design and the bright colors, hoping to build something like this too!
So awesome😍 this was my favourite clip from the video😊
There is so much work in it also the fact you had to build it by hand makes it way more harder😅
truly! handsetting really did raise the stakes while building, luckily we got it okay in the end 🙌
So incredibly awesome! I wanna go so bad sometime!
thanks! that would be awesome if you could make it someday!
