It would be good to know the names of the streets. It's East Broad - not Broadway

Is NJ a good option for NYC suburbs? I find that Westchester has more classy and picturesque towns than NJ. I live in SoHo and want to move out of the city. Which is better, Westchester or NJ?

Hi Maggi, NJ is a great option, have you watched my video on the Morristown Line yet? Some amazing towns with fast easy access to the city! Here is a link: th-cam.com/video/UQ5OOQNQZEI/w-d-xo.html
Also happy to jump on a call and discuss further, there are some strategic questions to ask that might help you make a decision, happy to help! Thanks, Jeff

Do we need a car there? Or still convenient to use public transport to commute?

Great question, it really depends a lot on a few things:
      A) If you are living close enough to the downtown where you can comfortably make it over to the grocery store, etc. (alternatively you could do amazon delivery for groceries).
      B) Depending on how far you live from the train station to commute to your place of work. For example if you live in the upper north corner of town it is a 1.8 Mile trip or 37 mins without a car according to google maps. But if you lived super close to the downtown it might only take 5-10 mins.
      C) Would you see yourself wanting to go further out to visit places that don't have easy access to public transit for day trips etc.
Most people would probably try to get a car so they can visit neighboring towns and have more convenience. But anything is possible, just depends on how much you like to walk and if you see yourself wanting to go explore other places, which maybe you just rent a car for that. In the end it comes down to personal preference.
I hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions!

Living in Westfield: step 1: have deep pockets 😂 new apts going for 4k, 800k minimum for starter home, might as well stay in NYC for those prices..at least you’re closer to the high paying jobs
