      Since it consists of volatile stuff,
      It is better if you revise it everday!

      Post dinner you read your 20th notebook of a different subject for 2-3 hrs.

    • @drparthpalan
      @drparthpalan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi!
      Considering NEET UG is based on ncert syllabus, cbse is a good bet!
      But more than any board, choose a college which is integrated to your coaching classes cause your main aim is going to be NEET UG only!
      So again, if your cbse college is not integrated to coaching, it is absolutely not advisable to take admission there!

    • @drparthpalan

      Make a separate notebook for the biochem cycles.. it will just take 3-4 hours to make one!
      But it will be of great help to you.
      So whenever you study biochem, make sure you start by reading the cycles vala notebook.

    • @drparthpalan

    Hi Dr Parth, can you please specify if I should just write down things as and when i come across them? Wouldn't that be haphazard? How to arrange it subject wise/topic wise/system wise? How to add points to it throughout your revision as and when you realise you’re forgetting many things or your GT mistakes? Because there would not be any blank pages in between since this is supposed to be as concise as possible…

    • @drparthpalan
      @drparthpalan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. The notebook should have subject wise divisions. So whichever subject you reading and you come across some point which you will forget and is high yielding, note that down in that subject section.
      In subsequent readings, you can highlight specific points which are more important so that way it would keep getting more specific.
      2. For your GT mistakes i recommend another book so that should be a quick read.
      Whereas the 20th notebook has the volatile stuff which you just cant read once and say this is done. You will need time to revise it.

    • @ishita2846
      @ishita2846 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@drparthpalan thank you!
      Should i make this 20th notebook from my 2nd revision onwards? Or what would be the ideal time to prepare this?
      Since I'm doing my 1st revision, i don't really know yet what things i will forget and what things are more important.
      In the GT notebook, should i just write down incorrect or guessed topics from the questions in a gt or even write down points about those topics in that notebook?

    • @drparthpalan
      @drparthpalan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. No don't wait for the 2nd revision.. earlier the better!
      Yes i know you feel many things are important and so i said it's okay to note them down; only to highlight a few points from the ones you note down now during your 2nd revision!
      2. In the GT notebook, no need to write down explanations.
      Just the incorrect and guessed questions are to be noted.

    • @ishita2846

    Sir please share a sample time table for preplanned revision of all topics so that we can revise atleast 3 times in 1 year in same series. 🙏🙏 Please Sir 🥺 a preplanned time table if u can .Should we use systemwise approach or random subjects approach in context to NEXT exam

    • @drparthpalan
      @drparthpalan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The general trick to revise in one year is
      6-3-2-1 which means
      1st reading -6 months
      2nd reading- 3 months. .. and so on ie final (4th reading) in one month.
      Personal advise is to not make any preplanned timetable of the whole year because any unexpected thing can come up and disrupt our whole schedule. So timetable for 15 days is a safe bet.
      For NEXT, there are no random subjects like NEET as in it is very well defined that your final year and pre final year subjects are going to form 80-85% of your questions.
      System wise you can try but mostly that takes up a lot of time and you might end up missing a few topics.
      So subject wise approach is always safe.

    • @RahulKumar-jb1is

      @@drparthpalan Sir as integration is needed in most of clinical questions from pre and paraclinical subjects. Sir I am not able to attempt questions subject wise . Sir If I want to go systemwise where I should arrange the orphan subjects in this revision and how to make 15 days time table for this approach so that I can revise all 19 subjects. Sir I am Dams foundation Batch student and they are emphasizing on basic subject more with integrated system wise approach but not telling how to do it for NEXT exam. Thank you Sir 🙏☺️

    • @drparthpalan
      @drparthpalan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Integration is needed no doubt but we had specified weightage for all the 19 subjects in NEET whereas in NEXT we know it is going to be pre final and final year mainly.
      So don't give a lot of time to your pre and para clinical ones because they are going to be asked in a clinical way now. So before thinking of revising them make sure you are thorough with your psm ophthal ent med surg obgy paeds. This is your core.
      Other subjects have to be dealt by spending only 2 days per week on them because their weightage is so low. And solving mcqs of them will always give you an idea of the clinical correlation.
      Integrated is something like- today you read mi from medicine
      So you go back to
      Anatomy of the heart
      Physio- cardiac cycle
      Patho- atherosclerosis
      Pharmac- cvs drugs
      This will help you revise everything in one go.

    Hey which material did you follow for NEET or INI CET? If you attended classes how did you revise previously covered subjects and when did you start revising? How often would you like write in your 20th book?

    • @drparthpalan
      @drparthpalan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      1. Material was dams notes, review books, marrow qbank for mcqs, marrow gt, dams cbt.
      2. Yes i had started going to dams from 3rd minor. Revision was according to the time table i made in internship. Which depended on the postings. Eg- shorter subjects in heavy postings and major subjects in lighter postings.
      3. I would write whenever i felt that a point was extremely important and volatile. So there is no fixed time as to when to write. Like while reading if you feel this point has been repeatedly asked in mcqs you must write in your 20th book. And dont worry if your book isnt concise because you can always mark the important points in your notebook which would be needed in further reading.

      You can make a timetable where you have your main subject which takes most part of your day and then an old subject which takes 2-3hrs( post dinner maybe).
