I have to say I have been deep down the rabbit hole for SAMR and 21st Century Learning in preparation for my SASSY SAMR session next week at TCEA. I happed upon this video (from the author of Failing Superman) and it is super stellar. I couldn't have said it better myself and it is very much in line with the ideas I had built for SASSY SAMR and redefining assessment practices. Couldn't help but share.

I came across your video in a search and was quite impressed with what you have to say. I am a senior English fellow here in Rio de Janeiro working on the first ever public bilingual high school (english - portuguese) which we just inaugurated this school year. As you mentioned, evaluation is a big deal here in Brazil…I will use your video on our wiki with your permission for teachers to internalize this concept you are speaking about and I have been trying to teach them about in a system that is very standardized and formal.
