Thank you for this video. It was so helpful. I used it with the paper instructions and it was my most IKEA construction - and I have had some painful constructions!
Excellent video. Made it so much easier to assemble the Trotten Sit/Stand Adjustable desk from Ikea. I was struggling with the Ikea instructions (as usual!). I'm also impressed by the quality of the desk - very sturdy. Thank you.
Thank you so much. When I moved, I disassembled the table part way. Your video made reassembling it easy. You concentrated on just the right things. Really appreciate it.
i am missing the parts shown at 9:04, and ikea can’t give them to be because i don’t have a receipt (bought it second hand). Now only 1 side of the desk can rise up. Anyone have an idea what i can use to replace this part with a little DIY tool?
I wanted to ask the same question. How come nobody asks this question? Probably I am totally clueless but this is the main thing for me. Which holes do I take for which table top size?? And why can't IKEA provide this info????

thank you. Got my table assembled seeing this video.
Thank you for the video. It was of great help in installing my Ikea Trotten Sit/Stand Adjustable table 160cm by 80cm. Great job.
What dimensions this model trotted?
I cant fit the hexagon sticks into 2 holes. Only of them gets in. Its either one or the other
I have the same problem, did u fix it?
Fix: adjust the bolt that the stick goes into; once one side is in, adjust the other with the Alan key and fit the hexagon stick
@@ps3nub1thanks for the hint! Worked fine for me
just apply more force
@@ps3nub1 Thanks for this tip, I used it when i couldn't fit mine and it worked.
Ich habe nach dieser tollen Anleitung den Tisch perfekt aufgebaut. Herzlichen Dank dafür. Tanks so much

Do we have to remove the felt stickers before putting the top?
I have the same doubt
It would help if Ikea made the instructions easier as many of us find the pictures not helpful
which table top size did you adjust the length for ? thank you
160cm i guess

Good
Thanks so much. Really helped us put ours together. Our only issue was that the crank shaft was too short for our 63 inch desk
Addendum. I realized that for the 63 inch desk you just slide the two sided metal glide and the screw to end, keeps it from pulling out
Can the crank be attached to either the left or right side of table?
yes, there are holes drilled on each side so you can choose
Hi! How is your table now after 2 years?
Working great 👍
thanks, really helpful
Thank you. it is very helpful.
