I'm pretty sure they also switched the bolt tip to the same rubber tip found on the etek5/GSL/3.5, since that rubber tip was made well after the release of the LV1. But I could be wrong

lol easier on paint. I'm still shooting my 05 EGO thats been easy on paint for the last 12 years. Gotta love ANS gear! They are the reason my gun still functions flawless, stocked up on all my parts before they became hard to find.
Reble B yup lol. I like my stack tube popet valve guns like egos, timmies and impulses from back in the day. Just haven't had a reason to leave it behind yet since stack tube popet valve platforms plateaued in the mid to late 2000s. Now it's just new milling, oled screens and no macro lines. I do like my ego11's as well since it had such a long production run and spare parts are very common. Something about my 05 always keeps me coming back and keeps my newer markers gathering dust. It just feels right in my hand the way it's set up, have a star regulator with swivel, pops on/off, cure 4, dark frame with manic board, some comfy grips off one of my newer egos, and almost every barrel under the sun. As long as I can keep the solenoid clicking and my stockpile of 05 detents last I can't let it go (even tried cutting some 06+ detents into the 05 shape just to know I can worst case 🤣) . The 05 solenoid are impossible to find now but I do have an 07 solenoid and manifold for backup which work great with a little extra dwell) Spool valves on the other hand have made some phenomenal progress in the last decade. Won't see me picking up an old shocker or DM since those are just trash compared to the new spoolies.
@@ConTheDon187 I’ve got a few parts for the noid from ASCO, can pull the coil off a standard asco joucomatic solenoid and then attach it to the ego manifold. Had a board on one of my 05 or 06 egos that needed repair after the battery terminals solder failed. Oh and bumper on the back of the rammer needs replacing occasionally, a piece of rubber tube with the same inside and outside diameter works well, just need to cut the hose into slices. Otherwise just a basic pneumatic system so nothing to really go wrong except Orings.

***** The LV-1 already had a rubber bolt tip before the 1.1. It is not the same as the Geo bolt tip though.
