Indian men are usually raised to be the backbone of the family so they have to face a lot of responsibilities. And whose men who get such great wives who are self sufficient and independent are damm lucky. It was natural of his to say all that.

It's sad because in some cases, men don't get that support from their companion and vice versa. I think kids should be taught whether it's a boy or a girl, you have to work to be sufficient enough for the life you want.
