- My first @slotdog experience! This is the #Slotdog with #FrankSpank "Woody" Hot Dog Rub. Thanks Curt for sending both! SLOTDOG slices perfect criss-cross slots that expand while cooking. I bought @originalnathansfranks #SkinlessHotDogs for this today. They're wildly small but alas, let's slot and get 'em crispy.

Just a prep suggestion for future slotdoggin: sprinkle seasoning on a plate and roll the dogs in it post slotting, pre grilling. Reapply on grill if needed?Just a thought!🌭
You can do both! :) We just find shaking into the slots allows the rub to get soaked right into any moisture in those flavor canyons

Really like the Slotdog gadget. I like to score dogs like that. Doing it manually, they do not come out so perfect looking. Being an old dude, I need to dispose of these 1 trick ponies. No room to store. Great gadget though. Great to see you have a patio you can grill on.
Once you get it you'll be slotting on a weekly basis :P
Always slice a dog, sausage, never a raw brat (Polk n par boil in onion, beer, sliced onion, red pepper flake)- chat thar sht on grill

My favorite dogs. They used to have quarter pounders, cause yeah, the regular and bun length are a bit small. My brother has a slotdog and I made it all the way through a dog my first try.
All about getting the feel down then you'll be slotting both sides on any size of dog like a pro

Fun little gadget to up one's wiener game. I gotta try to mimic that crosshatch pattern next time I cook up a dog. My only concern is whether you intentionally put the mustard on after the cheese or not... ;)

That's one of those things you use once and it sits in a drawer for the next 4 years. I bought the same puny skinless Nathan dog's last weekend. I ended up throwing on two per bun.

I would never buy the Slot dog. Because I would never buy skinless dogs! What were they thinking!
We were thinking that the vast majority of hot dogs sold in the US are skinless, and also anything with a skin doesn't slot easily due to surface tension. :)
