How have I never seen this before ?! Thanks a lot for sharing this video! Believe it or not, in only 4 days (on Saturday) I'm going to see Rafał Blechacz performing in Poland, pretty close to where I live. He's going to play Bach's 2nd partita, Beethoven's sonata op. 10 and Chopin's sonata op. 58. I'm very excited.
Well, the German version has been on DW's TH-cam channel since it came out, but unless you speak German, you probably wouldn't want to watch it. As for this version, I stumbled upon it on DW's official website by luck, cause you can't even watch it until you've downloaded the file😅. Good for you! I know his recitals in Poland are often sold out within a few days, so congrats to you😊. Oh, and don't forget to take one of his albums with you, I think there's a good chance there'll be an autograph session after the concert (he's partial to Polish fans)😉. Have fun, you won't be disappointed👍~
I never bumped on that German version on YT, no idea how’s that possible 😀 I was at his recital 4 months ago, literally a few kilometers from where I live, and it was all Chopin program. I went backstage after the concert. Not only did I get the autograph, but I asked for a photo and he happily agreed. We even exchanged a few words. It was an amazing day.
@@Chopin1995 You probably didn't look as thoroughly as me😜. But all the better, my goal is to provide as much rare content as possible😊. Wow, then I guess I'm the one who should be envious🤣! I haven't even gotten his autograph yet, much less meet him face to face🥲. But I'm glad he's still so humble and friendly after all these years (I also read he's donating a lot of his proceeds from his performances to help Ukrainians), that's one reason other than his musical genius I'm willing to help promote him as much as I can without getting anything in return. The world needs more people like him😄. Anyway, wish you a pleasant concert on Saturday~
@@r.blechaczradio Oh yeah, I thought I’m good at searching for stuff on the internet, but clearly I have something to learn 😀 He’s very humble and friendly. I don’t think anyone could be more humble than Rafał is. Well, pretty good pianist too 😁 Thank you! Can’t wait, especially for a Chopin’s sonata op. 58. Only three days left!
Blechacz playing "Etincelles"... Marvellous!!!!!!
Wow, I can't believe you know the piece he played at around 1:46🤓!
Thanks for enlightening us, bravo!
