Dr. Akhtar has an amazing gift of distilling difficult material into its most salient points while not comprising on the complexity of the ideas. I am so impressed at how he can interweave so many different sources to illuminate Freud, and that he ends with creativity and writing as a "friendly wink" of the conscious to the unconscious. Brilliant!
