Hey everyone! My name's Iver. Welcome to my channel: RA2 World Series (Aka RA2cashGames). I host and stream pro Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 (Yuri's Revenge) games... and give the winners cash :)
My channel features a variety of RA2 gameplay, including professional 1v1 matches, 2v2 games, show-matches, multi-player, free-for-all (FFA), tournaments, and cash prize events. We also feature helpful tutorials, strategies, and walk-throughs, with tips/tricks for new players. I focus mostly on PvP, but I also do PvE occasionally, like 1v7 Brutal AI Enemy challenges, Allied Campaign, and Soviet Campaign games.
"Red Alert 2 Remastered" has yet to officially release, but until it does, I've created a variety of custom maps, tiny maps, survival maps, and mod maps to keep us all entertained! We have a great community of players of all skill levels... download the game today, and come play with us! :)

💥 "Blitz"
This is a Red Alert 2 game mode of my own creation. Tiny-map, no ore, build oil for money (max 12 oils). All Allied get all Allied bonuses (minus France), all Soviet get all Soviet bonuses. There is a 10min game timer. No engineers allowed.

I'm surprised to see that this game from my childhood still have dedicated players. And I'm even more surprised that there are professionals who play these game at tournaments. In my teens, common matches are that Allies always stomp out Soviets, and when both are Allies what tends to happen is turtling with Grand cannons, Rocketeers, and Prism Tanks leading up to a boring match most of the time. So I'm really glad to see that people actually realized RA2 still can be played with balance.

Funnily enough, in pro games Soviets stomp Allies, so the community makes maps favoring the Allies and gives them power plant buffs to compensate. And Allies just can't compete with Yuri, because Sovs are the brute force faction, and Yuri is a better long game/finesse faction than the Allies, so anything Allies can do, Yuri can do better.
That 3rd game though.. What a comeback from burg!! Gg

I have a weird love hate with Command and Conquer. When I was 9, the og game gave me a photosensitivity grand Mal seizure...but I out grew it and went on to play Tiberium Sun, RA1, 2 and YR.

Yup, he (probably) just clicked on a building, and they were AFK by the time the Rhinos arrived because he had to micro the Mirages (but lost anyway). That was the only front at that moment, so not sure why he was too distracted to plan this one better or didn't at least try to split with them.
I feel like you shouldnt run with mirage as they dont seem to fire when they are on the move. Awesome games. Marsh was looking really strong. surprised he didnt win round 2 and 3.
Yeah mirages can't shoot while moving so definitely vulnerable in a lot of situations!
They can with Ctrl + Shift. BTW, I'm not very well-versed in competitive, so bear with me, but I see custom mods for competitive games buffing some vehicles by giving them the ability to shoot on the move. Can't pro players just Ctrl + Shift them if they're so underpowered without it? Does it require too much dexterity in the heat of battle even for pros, or does Ctrl + Shift just work worse than "naturally" shooting on the move?
That command makes them "shoot then move" they don't shoot at the same time that they move... Tanks like grizzlies for example can shoot and move at the same time.

Yeah there are mods that make some units like apocs/prisms shoot same time they move, but units with fixed turrets like mirages and tank destroyers can't really do that cuz they have to face their target
