Today in AL MAZRAH DMZ, we bump into a couple of guys who were up to a bit of mischief... yes... Teleporting across the MAP! wtf?!
I managed to build a brief but friendly relationship with the pair of rascals and got them to show me how they managed to teleport across the map. Ridiculous... and borderline cheating if you ask me. Regardless of that, i wasn't bothered by them doing it... quite the contrary - i found it bloody hilarious!! xD

OMFG!!! Andy, YOU SHOULD DO THIS YOURSELF! we absolutely trust you that u'll not use such glitches for yourself, but doing such videos without showing it on yourself is ridiculous!
p.s. and me personally would call such teleports "ninja paths" what perfectly fits into your gamestyle - this is "short way" and not "short kill", everyone can do this without any "special hacking software" - so this is just part of DMZ

This glitch does not give the player an advantage, and it does not involve any external software or hardware. therefore, it is not cheating

i had only discovered this glitch in 2024 by accident where a random teammate had done this. insane, i would have needed that in season 1 or 2 when i was knocking missions alone...

Andy u can teleport from Sawah ship , u can't from Hafid port and for the one next to Al Bagra i havent tried (in Ashika u can't do it)@4ndyb
*I've done quite a lot of research on things like this some say its cheating (those would be the guys) who are trying hard to kill you and then you went ahead and did this - so they could not get the kill...
But in short its not classed as cheating it more a game bug/exploit that call of duty themselves have left or just not discovered you cant be banned for using them as its just a bug, i remember back on 'fortunes keep' some creators themselves used this under the map exploit to win, they never gotten a ban i think almost everybody done it until cod patched it.
It's a very controversial subject because it's highly subjective-everyone has a different idea of what constitutes 'cheating' or not.
The fun part is placing mines at the other end where you teleport to and watching them go kaboom lol
You read my mind. I'm thinking of setting something up for the glitchers ;)... a little 'welcome party'

That glitch seems like fair game, it's surely a 100% intentional jumpspot to reward players with good map knowledge and cracked crouch-spam movement 😂

@@4ndyb yeah! if you just go through once to pinpoint exactly where they pop out, you can set up mines to "punish the glitchers" lol
The proxy mines did cross my mind 👍👍 😆 that would be classic!. I have a few other ideas that could also work, too... but I'll keep those a secret for now 😉

Yes, good points! If it's not giving you an unfair advantage, I think it's probably not frowned upon. But if you're using it to escape someone chasing you, I think that does kinda feel like it's borderline cheating.

It works on the sawah spawn ship.. When we first discovered this, we had to try it.. Also before we know about this, we've seen squads camping the other side and we had no clue what the heck they doing in the middle of nowhere 😅
I don't blame anyone for wanting to try it, it's fairly harmless. I'd be a bit pissed if someone used it to flee from me, though 🤣 .
I wish we could get 6 man squads back and water depth removed and head bobbing removed. Put the game back to how it was right before that last Halloween event that was used to end the game.
There's a video for you Mr B - trolling glitchers! I know Phixate went through a stage of camping the Snipers Nest and killing anyone trying to glitch into there. Maybe go a touch dafter - unlock the other door (bet they never check to see if it's open!) and place proxy mines by the glitch door for them to land right on. Same for the centre of the map where the ship glitchers teleport to.

I think doing it once (as long as people aren't gaining any unfair advantage) is fine. But, if it's being abused, then it could be an issue... especially if it's used to escape a fight etc.
@@4ndybIt works on both boats, people have worked it out that they can do the glitch from one boat, set a proxy mine and wait and watch the people from the other boat appear and instantly blow up, lol
The thought of setting up mines on the other side, did cross my mind xD

You have to spawn on the East boat to beat the Sawah village team.

Definitely works on the ship in Sawah village. My team left me there to die using the glitch. My morals get me killed a lot haha. Especially when my whole team Koshei’s and leaves me to try to exfoliate alone since I refuse. 😂

THis glitch is an old one and if you hae not already noticed it teleports you to the very centre of the map.

This has happened to me before actually! I ended up on the hill near Rohan Oil and the Caves. I thought it was a glitch at first.
Used that glitch a few times to escape hunters. It's saved my ass from a few bunnies. 🤣

the bug works on all the partially sunken ships
Probably that is the origin of the map, 0,0 coordinates. Long ago, when I played DMZ, I saw some icons were glitching and it was placed exactly in the center of the map.
Good point! You're probably right. I have no idea why the glitch works, though.
@@4ndyb It's a bug. The character collides with the hitbox/collision volume which is placed on the ship's 3D mesh. Artists often make errors with the collision boxes by rushing the placement of these. This is why sometimes people can crawl under the map, go inside walls. I assume that the operator ends up in an undefined or invalid position / state which simply resets its coordinates to the origin as some fallback value. The fact that the glitch works on all ships is probably the result of copy & pasta of hitboxes over very similar 3D geometries.

It's been out for a fair while, but I've never witnessed it until now. I think if people are just teleporting for fun and not gaining any advantage, I'm cool with it. But if people are using it to escape fights, then it's kinda borderline exploiting i think. Seeing those guys have fun whilst doing it was good to watch... but i just couldn't do it myself. If you drop all your weapons at the ship and then teleport you’ll come out with a combat knife and you can still go back and retrieve your weapons.

It's called boat glitch. Places player in center map kinda,facing highrise. It's near Hydroelectric area.👍🏾

It brings you to north of Zaya, in that spot you might see a red Sentry turret icon appear and when you go check, there are none.
Hahha i shared this exact same experience. Was like what are these guys doing 😂 had to try it out it just teleports you to a feild by the observatory.

I had 2 teammates do it from the ship you spawn on at start of match. Did not see where they did it from. One second they were on the ship, next second they were in Zaya.

Yes, they should also patch the undermap glitch and sort out the cheating problem. I know most of the time, the teleporting is innocent, but using it to flee from a fight is a bit dodgy.

I have far less issue with this than I do with hackers. And probably even OSS users 😂
It's a feature, not a bug. Also, the same thing is with the scuba mask...all you need to swim all game long :)).

We been doing this for over a year & a half one of the oldest glitch in the game puts you on big hill above meadowlands & post office😂! Just look down on corner and run while crouching pressing b whole time 🤣
We've all known or heard rumours about it for a long time indeed(as I mentioned in the video). This is just showing my first experience of it happening in the flesh cause it was a fun interaction. I avoid abusing glitches, but apparently, not everyone does 🙄. Cheers.
I thought it was just the spawn point ship! Solo it's good as you don't get trapped between 2 other spawn points
The opposite is true for me. As a solo, i love to PvP against multiple teams. 'Teleporting' away from fights is just a cowardly mindset.

It's been doable for over a year now
That's old but took me a while to get to know. Meanwhile ppl are camping the exit of that teleport with RGL beginning of the match

Do it with once just to learn where it put’s you out lol. it’s in the middle of the map.. All boats have the same glitch.. Plenty of people camp the area where they glitch to as it is always the same.. It doesn’t hurt if you have land mines or a turret to set that up there.
I was thinking about having a welcome party for the glitchers. I probably won't try the teleport, but i'm sure to find a video online which shows the exact location. :)

It's not like there is a long list of glitches that are being exploited constantly. Should be an easy patch for them to fix them all.

This was my first time witnessing it, despite hearing about it a long time ago. I 100% of the time run solo, so that's probably the main reason I hadn't seen anyone do it till now.

@ It doesn’t bother me, but it is an advantage any way you look at it. It adversely affects how/when players get loot etc..

It is not a bug, it was left for testers, to move faster between map points. There is more such places in the map, i can tell that near al mazrah highrise is one.

I Dont Condone Using Glitches In DMZ but don’t worry about the glitch being shown in a video activision don’t fix anything in DMZ Anymore hell theres a glitch in vondel that lets players go under the map technically this teleport glitch isn’t considered cheating as its not giving players an unfair advantage

I did. As I said in the video, I've heard rumours, and people talk about it. I just hadn't actually seen it in the flesh because i don't hang around with glitchers and just play solo. That's why i was so surprised when i saw it happen, as it was my first time seeing it. Cheers.

do the devs know about it? Yes
is it cheating? No since its a made game mechanic even if its an obscure one mainly for dev's
(there are alot of games with these teleporters in game mainly used for devs to get around dating back to Snes games )

EU servers... but if I play at a stupid time, for example, at 4 am UK time, sometimes it forces me into a US lobby. So, 99% of the time, I'm on EU servers. Ahh thanks dude, I appreciate that!

Still haven't tried it. Never will. Exploiting glitches is widely considered a form of cheating. Regardless of that, i don't have a problem with people using it... as it's pretty harmless. It's just not for me though. Cheers :)

its not cheating unless you use it in a way to gain an advantage over an enemy. if you did it just to show where it goes its not cheating
