Age will be your help, I too was like that, changing out decor when boredom set in, but aging has caused me to slow down with purchasing. Storing becomes difficult and downsizing to get rid of stuff. If it’s in you, u just have to minimize. The ideas keep coming but, you just cant do like before. But I still am a decorator at heart

You are soooooooo right. With age I don’t buy as much anymore, but I too still love to decorate.

❤❤. I can't never be happy with my decor for too long. I get a couple of months, maybe before I'm changing it or ready to change it. My mother messed me up like this 😂. I get bored so easily. I have so many ideas always stiring up in my head. I love to decorate and change design styles and colors. It's therapy for me.

I have to say that with my disability it gets harder to keep changing things up frequently. I Don't have the energy or strength to do it, & always have to ask for help to bring decor from garage & It is discouraging lol. It is why I enjoy seeng all your & every decor videos to live vicariously through them lol. Its always best to paint 1st & see how you feel & if after that its still bugging at you then get what you want. Like you said make a life that you love! If you still have the strength, time, $ & energy to do it then go for it! Life is short Sis, so do what makes you happy within your possibilities. Tfs Sisters! Usually what I do in the Spring stays up until Fall🤣😂🤣sometimes Christmas. I got those end tables from a thrift store and the rustic paint job is bugging me. I will definitely paint them first because they’re good sturdy tables. HAPPY SUNDAY BEAUTIFUL💕

Well in my younger days I rearranged my furniture every 4 to 6 weeks and yes I would get bored but couldn’t afford to buy new stuff and didn’t know about refurbishing or repainting things but yeah you do the best what looks good and satisfy you and those hydrangeas are so beautiful I’m tempted to try to grow some hopefully I’ll finally have a green thumb🤷🏽♀️ TYFS and be BLESSED 🤗🦋🌻

Hello Ms. Rhonda., changing out don't have to be expensive. GA has all kinds of Goodwills all over and check out some antique furniture stores. I just tuned in and love your house. (FYI) Just remember, if you get black chairs to your dining room table they will catch alot of length. And what if you price getting those chairs you have upholstered. Keep on doing what you're doing and decorating relaxes me also.
@@soniaalexander7509 Hey Sonia! Now that’s one thing that I hadn’t thought of! REUPHOLSTERING THEM! I’m gonna check on that because it may be cheaper than buying new ones. I like my chairs. Most that I see are the low back ones and I don’t like that look for my table. Thank you so much for reminding me of upholstering and for watching the video . We are always on the hunt for new antique and thrift shops to ramble around in. We found some nice ones in north Ga. One is called Black Bear Antiques. Another is Two Sisters Thrift (I believe that’s the name) If you know any other good ones lemme know💕💕

I get new furniture fever all the time but when I go to the stores and see difference in the quality of the furniture it makes me want to keep what I got but I am still thinking on some more furniture

@@chantelsemien5489 Hey Chantel! Definitely prayed for all of y’all! I was up all night the night before the storm hit. He woke up to 3 trees down, one right outside his window. He had no power for two days.He was able to go to the college and hang out there most of that time. He said lots of people, including teachers, hunkered down at school. I’ve begun picking up little things for him. I found the food warmer a HomeGoods recently. Have you seen it? You plug it in inside the car. I’m also gonna get him some battery operated lamps, fan, etc. So glad y’all are ok.💕

Hi pretty lady....if the walls only have scuff msrks, I use magic eraser to get rid of scuff marks and it works great.
Good tip Elaine! Quicker than pulling out brush/paint then cleaning brush, etc. 💕

I change most of my spaces every 3 months or so. 😅 I am never satisfied for to long. I feel better when I change up my vignettes frequent. I fix me a cup of hot tea and just sit and look at it. Then I go to utube; looking for Shonda and Rhonda, Kimberly Davis, Travina, Tangie, LaTorsha and everybody else. Great motivation and inspiration!! 😊😊
